    Jamal Wants Title

Hmmm... they'll go deep in the playoffs provided Marbury and Crawford mesh, and the signing of Dampier could put them over the top. Marbury/Crawford Houston/Crawford Thomas/JYD Thomas/Sweetney Dampier/Mohammed I like it a lot. Championship material? Doubtful.

Yeah, maybe they'll give you Jalen Rose or Donyell Marshall for Kurt...

UPDATED: The official Vince Carter Thread

It doesn't matter that it's better than Marbury or JC. The Raptors aren't even going to pick up the phone if Allen Houston is part of the deal.

Hah... Allen Houston for Vince Carter. Yeah, that'll fly

Zero, if Marbury isn't part of the deal.

Carter wants to play for the Knicks

If Zeke can bring Vince Carter and Antoine Walker to New York without given Stephon Marbury he will be made Times Man of the Year, nay, Times Man of the Millenium. ...but it won't happen

Carter wants to play for the Knicks

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Knicks Analyst:</div><div class="quote_post">Don't you think that Isiah may pursue Carter a little bit more than Crawford? Thought so.</div> That's fine... but there's a difference between saying "I really, really, really, really want Vince Carter" and making a...

Carter wants to play for the Knicks

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BigfnJoe96:</div><div class="quote_post">If vince want's to come here, Zeke will find a way to make-it happen. People keep sayin TT suxs. TT is good player who causes match-up problems cause of his size. What makes him unattractive is his contract, not his game...

Carter wants to play for the Knicks

A three-way deal would look like this: Toronto sends Carter to New York New York sends Tim Thomas (for instance) to 3rd team 3rd team sends ?? to Toronto Toronto is going to want a superstar or hot young prospect from the 3rd team. But which 3rd team would participate in the deal when all...

Carter wants to play for the Knicks

Carter can't get to New York without Zeke parting with Marbury, which also won't happen. If a third team gets involved, they'd be giving players to Toronto that are better they are receiving from New York... so why would they (e.g. Dallas) want to get involved, when they're getting poop like...

    Speculation on Kidd trade

The Nets should've taken Tony Parker last year, when they had the chance. This also would've allowed them to keep KMart (with Jefferson as the other max contract). I wonder who is interested in Kidd now, and what the Nets could get for him...

Kenyon Martin Offered 6 Year Deal, Worth Between 80-100 Million

Hehe... I just thought. NJ would probably decide to match, just to totally screw over Cleveland (no Boozer, no Ilgauskas, no KMart). Maybe better to organize the S&T

Kenyon Martin Offered 6 Year Deal, Worth Between 80-100 Million

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Deadlock:</div><div class="quote_post">Lose a 2nd rounder and Z for KMart? I dont see that happening at all.</div> It's quite do-able. Cleveland get KMart not to sign w/ Atlanta or Denver, therefore forcing Atlanta's hand. Atlanta can absorb Z's contract...

Kenyon Martin Offered 6 Year Deal, Worth Between 80-100 Million

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KingCarmelo:</div><div class="quote_post">how, how can that happen?</div> Either sign-and-trade with the Nets, Z for KMart... or send Z to Atlanta with a future-first for a second-rounder, then sign KMart to the max.

Kenyon Martin Offered 6 Year Deal, Worth Between 80-100 Million

Nets should let him take that. Look at signing Stromile to, I dunno, 6 million per? I firmly believe Stromile will give you more than 6/13ths of KMart's output (i.e. 6mil vs max deal), if not close to equal with JKidd feeding him the ball. I still think Kenyon could end up in a Cavs jersey, though

    Vince may be a Knick.

Knicks Analyst: the clear flaw there is that the Sonics could just as easily trade Ray Allen straight up for Vince Carter. There is no way, outside of receving multiple unprotected future draft picks (from both clubs) or HUGE salary cap relief that we would be part of such a three-way deal...
