Ummm.. I think this has been pointed out repeatedly by people here. It's no secret. There has to be at least one upgrade in the starting forward positions for the Nets to improve or at least maintain their current level of play.

Hope tonight was another step in Brooks development. He had success on the pick and roll and if the Nets could use that play more it would give another dimension to the offense.

They can't exploit that Simmons-Gordon match up because Simmons is a disaster when he tries to post up or put the ball on the floor. In years past the Nets could use Kidd, Carter, or Jefferson to post up and wear down Gordon. They can't now with Simmons on the floor.

I think it's because Carter plays better off the ball than Harris. When Harris has the ball Carter is the better spot up shooter than when Vince has the ball and Harris is spotting up. But the real problem is the defense. A few days ago I made a thread suggesting the Nets be a true run...
