just for the hell of it and since Im really bored....... Kendrick Perkins report from celtics.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Photo: NBAE/Getty Images Tale of the Tape: 6-10, 285, Clifton J. Ozen HS, Rookie Skinny: Perkins enters the season as the first high school player ever selected by the Celtics in the draft. He should spend most of the season learning from veterans like Walker, Battie and Williams. It will be hard for a high school player to get many minutes on a playoff caliber team, but Celtics didn't draft Perkins for this season, he was selected for the future. That's not to say Perkins will never see the floor, he'll get a chance, but most likely it will be to gain experience. Perkins has proven early on to be dedicated and a hard worker, so if given the chance to play, he might not let it go. Unless the C's are rocked with injuries look for Perkins to use this season as a learning experience. Questions: Perkins is a big tough player, who has a good feel for the game, but still needs to learn. The question surrounding high school players are usually, are they content to use their first year to learn, while still giving their all in practice. It can be easy for a player who is not playing much to get complacent in practice. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clearly he's gonna do nothing his first year and thats if we;re lucky. He'll be lucky to have a whole point per game when the seasons thru and I don't expect him to get more than a rebound and a half per game. his jobe is gonne be to fill up garbage time minutes and fill in when other depth players are injured which may happen with a center tandem of Tony battie and Vin baker (shutter)
