    05's Projected Starting 5

Ok, this I think we be a exciting season for the young squad. They got 2 solid pickups in Nash and Richardson. This will give a solid core and still have some spark of the bench. I kinda an easy projection on 4 of the starting 5 but there is still a lil question mark at shooting guard spot.

    Here's what I think :

    Center:Jake Voskuhl
    PF: Amare Stoudemire
    SF:Shawn Marion
    SG:Joe Johnson
    PG:Steve Nash

Key Bench Players:Barbosa, Richardson, Cabarkapa, Hunter, and Clark (if healthy)

    Starting Five
    Nash
    Q
Marion (if still here if not JJ)
    Amare
    Toss up (maybe Hunter)

It is kind of hard for me to predict there starting lineup at this point considering the rumors about Marion being traded for a big man and the questions about who will start Q or JJ questions that wont be answered until training camp possibly not until the season starts. As it stands right now their roster is a big ? mark to me. The center spot is a big toss up considering how quickly Vohskuhl picks up fouls I remember a game last year where he fouled out playing a total of 18 minutes. Then it continues to be a toss up do to them signing Hunter who although is not exactly the all star starting center you would like he is seven foot one and can at least be used as a body to toss at someone if not anything else.

Q I believe will start over JJ despite the fact that it will be decided in training camp Q is getting paid way to much money to be a sixth man for this team. I think that do to the development of JJ and the signing of Q the suns organization believes that Marion has become expendable to them, thus the reason for all the trade rumors. Either way even with all these questions marks I think they will definitely have a good year and I wish the team luck.

Yeah, I think Joe Johnson lost his Starting spot the second Q joined the team.

    1-Nash
    2-Q
    3-Matrix
    4-Amare
    5-Jake

Who knows who is starting right now beacause their off season isnt over yet.
    C-??
    PF-Amare
    SF-Marion
SG-JJ,Q would be nice off the bench
    PG-Nash

They have depth at the guard postions but I'm not sure what they are going to do at center, right now trading JJ for a center would be the smartest thing to do for the Suns right now.

I think the starting lineup should go like this....

C - Jake Voskuhl (hopefully temporarily)
    PF - Amare Stoudemire
    SF - Shawn Marion
    SG - Quentin Richardson
    PG - Steve Nash

I think Q would be a bigger help to the team than JJ would so i would say start Q and trade off JJ for a decent or maybe even a great C. Shawn Marion should stay also...I dont see why they would get rid of The Matrix that easily. 19 ppg, 9 rpg....I think that team needs to keep him and Amare for sure no matter what.

    PG: Steve Nash
    SG: Quentin Richardson
    SF: Shawn Marion
    PF: Amare Stoudemire
C: Marcej Lampe | Steven Hunter | Jake Voskuhl [it will alternate]

Starting SG should be Johnson not Q:

    Let's look at the comparison:

Quentin Richardson: Better outside shooter, better rebounder, bad ball handler, bad shot selection, very bad defense.

Joe Johnson: Better defender [good defender], better passer, better ball handler, and basically just a better all-round player.

    [They're equal in scoring]

Results: Joe Johnson is the better player, and JJ also sucks when coming off the bench, he hasn't been a good bench guy, but Q on the other hand performs the same whether starting or as a 6th man.

Marion should be a keeper, I don't see why Phoenix would want to trade him, because we won't get a center of his value back, I think Q should be the one that gets traded even [IMG]
Really though, the best bet would be to try and trade JJ to Denver for Nene, Denver needs a SG, we need a center, Nene is very capable of playing center, he's an athletic freak like Amare, and is a tank. He also played center in his rookie year, and he's also a very good defender, and a good ball handler for a player his size.

Does anyone know what is/was wrong with Keon Clark? I didn't see him at all last season.

    PG - Nash
SG - Q (I think he should start, he brings more shooting and ability to go down low then JJ)
SF - Marion (I think he will be traded for a center, JJ should start here when he is traded)
    PF - Amare
C - Toss UP! (either Hunter of Voskuel)
