I think next years MVP will be Lebron James, hes doing so much for his team and is just putting up great numbers. As for last years mvp...I think nash did have a great year but just because you lead the league in assists does not make you MVP, I say Kobe Bryant for last year, your thoughts?

Last year i thought it was kobe or dirk, but the voters thought different. I think next year its kobe without a doubt. They're gonna win more games and be more competitive

last year i believe it should have gone to either lebron or kobe, they both had great seasons. for this upcoming season, i cant imagine it going to anybody besides dwyane wade. he always had a leaderership role, but it was raised to a new level in the playoffs. if hes able to step it up like he did in the finals, theres no doubt he will be MVP. hes going to have an outstanding year next year, IMO.

Most likely i think Lebron will take it, maybe Kobe.

Last year i thought Kobe was the MVP. If he or Lebron won it, i wouldn't have been upset.

I thought Dirk Nowitzki was the best choice for last year's MVP, but I really had no complaints with Nash winning it.

I think Kobe's an obvious candidate for MVP next year, as his team looks to be much better. I can also see Dywane Wade building off the momentum from the playoffs and having an outstanding season.

Last yeah I saw it in this order:
    1. Kobe
    2: Lebron
    3. Dirk
    4. Nash
    5. Wade
    6. Chauncey

Next year, since the NBA is in love with LBJ I think he has a great shot at getting it. I personally think hes one of the more overrated players in the NBA, as amazing as he is....

06-07 NBA MVP race will come down to these two: Lebron James and Dirk Nowitzki and it will be a close one..

I think Nash is a great player, but i dont think he should of won MVP. Leading the league in assists doesnt mean you deserve MVP. I am looking forward to his next season though

I agree that Nash shouldn't have won it but c'mon, your argument is incorrect. He didn't win it because he led the league in assists, I have no idea where you got that from. They don't base MVP off assists, much like how Kobe had most ppg but didn't win it. They thought the Suns were gonna suck without JJ and Amare, but Nash made his new team mates do great and they clinched the division title, hence they gave him the award. NOT because he got most assists per game. Baron Davis was second in apg, if he got more assists than Nash would he have won? No.

Last year Nash deserved it hands down. Kobe was good but Nash just dominated. He gor his teammates involved more than anyone else. Without Nash the Suns would probably be worst then the Lakers without Bryant. How valubale is Kobe to his team when they have a losing record. I think the MVP's should be given to players whose teams have atleast 45 wins.

For this year I think that Lebron James and Dywane Wade have to be the top runners for MVP. They are both young and have loads of talent. They are both valuble to thier teams and both can score, rebound, pass, and defend. IMO, one of those guys will be the MVP this year.

well put. Although I think Nash as last years MVP was a good choice, I could totally see it going to a few other players.

Next year: I'm guessing Lebron, Kobe, Wade, maybe TD, KG, Shaq, or Yao if they play well. lol pretty big range eh?

I think Kobe, LeBron, or Dirk would have been great winners for MVP last season.

This season I see Kobe, LeBron, and Dwayne battling it out for it.

Really a toss up between, Nowitski, Lebron, Wade, Kobe and Nash, but I think it should have been Dirk. Nash had a great season but I think the others had the edge on him.

Last year i think it was between Nash and Kobe. Nash made Suns so good that they maked it to Western Conferense finals with a.. not so good team, Marion was the only star who played with him, but i think Nash also made him better. I am a Nash fan so i am very happy that he got it. This year i REALLY hope that Kobe is going to get MVP. I dont see Wade winning MVP, i dont know why, but LeBron is better than Wade IMO.

Nash deserved it last year, but I dont think he did the year before that. Next year, it'll be hard to choose.

I think Kobe deserved it last season. He did things on the court that none of us had ever seen. Things we thought weren't even possible. I think Lebron is gonna win it next year. He's gonna have a good season and the fact that the NBA loves him, he's gonna get it even if he doesn't deserve it. One last thing, I don't think Kobe will ever win the MVP award, Seeing how last year 22 of the voters left him off of their ballots completely. He will never be appreciated like he should be. I dont ever think he's gonna get the respect he deserves.

I don't know about this year because it hasnt happened yet...once I see what guys are brining to the table I'll be able to give an opinion. But as for last year, I would have given it to Dirk. The guy had a really good season.
