The Boston Celtics are on pace to surpass the Bulls' 72 wins and become the second team to win 70 in a season.

Premature?
Bear in mind that these are the Celtics that many didn't have winning the East, let of all 70 games. Is it in the realm of possibility? IMO not with their bench. I still don't like this team in a seven game series against the Spurs, Rockets, Suns, Mavs, and on fence about Detroit and Cleveland. Hell, if our guys ever show up I like the Bulls over the Celts as well.

I spose it's in the realm of possibility, but it won't merit serious discussion IMO until they win the championship. If they do that, we could look back on it and say they were as good if they have that good of a regular season. If they don't, well, nobody's gonna be talking about how good the 67 win Mavs were last year.

Its still way too early. wait until. feb when ray allen or pierce have already had their annual injury.

http://www.nba.com/playerfile/paul_pierce/career_stats.html
Where do you see Paul Pierce's annual injury? Even in the year he got stabbed, he hasn't missed many games.
This isn't out of the realm of possibility, but this is way too early. The Celtics are on a pace to go 82-0, but they sort of need to win a championship first. Like someone else said, no one outside of Dallas gives a damn about last years Mavericks.

Is it possible? Sure.
Is it insanely early to even be thinking about it? Of course.
Not even 10 games into the season and already talk of winning 70 games...ridiculous. They've look good, sure. But there is way way way too long of a way to go.

It is so early into the season that the discussion is laughable, sorry. No offense to the Celtics. That is a great ball club. We should re-open the discussion midway through the season if they're still on "pace." I think that's more logical considering that the league isn't even 10 games in yet and the Celtics have only played 6. lol

lol, j/k
But yeah its too early to talk about that. Not until after the allstar game at least.
