Texas 25. Iowa</div> Yes, Charlotte only has four losses, but they haven't really played anyone. They played Alabama and Cincinnati but lost both games. They also lost to Rutgers earlier this season and just lost to East Carolina this week. In fact, their best win is a one point win over Indiana. Why would you have them over Villanova, a team with more quality wins and a tougher schedule? On second thought, why would you even rank them? Texas is 14-5. Iowa is 14-5. However, Texas lost to Iowa. Also, Texas is without their best player, P.J. Tucker, for the entire season. To add to that LaMarcus Aldridge is also injured. So they're definitely a team on the decline. Why would you have them over Iowa? Did that 25 point loss to Kansas impress you?

Alabama 24. Arizona 25. Gonzaga</div> What has Texas done to deserve to be ranked ahead of all those teams? Like I said earlier, they have five losses now and two of their four best players are out. They're in a downward spiral. Why rank Washington so low? Their only losses are at Gonzaga, at UCLA, and at Arizona. They have wins over #25 Utah, #17 Alabama, #15 Oklahoma, and North Carolina State (who was #9 at the time). Not to mention they have some very solid victories over Stanford, Oregon, USC, and California. To me, having them this low, especially under Oklahoma, is a joke. I can't understand why you would have Georgia Tech so high either; classic ACC-bias. They lost to North Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech, Kansas, and Gonzaga. They have one quality win, a win over Wake Forest. I know that a win over Wake Forest is nice, but does it automatically put you at #11? I don't think Georgia Tech should even be ranked. I mean, how can you have them over Gonzaga, a team who beat Georgia Tech and has a better record and more quality wins?
I had Georgia Tech ranked 11th last week, so this week they had a big win over Wake Forest, so I just left them alone and kept them at 11. I still feel that Texas is a solid top 20 team. They haven't been winning against the big teams like Iowa, Oklahoma, and Wake Forest, but they have gave them all good game. They also have a win over #5 Oklahoma State, so I'm just going to keeo them right there at 17. Washington may deserve to be there, but I just overlooked Washington this week due to a loss to Arizona. Now Washington I really should had them ranked higher, but they lost to Arizona last week, and I also did the same thing to them, that I did to Texas; I left them alone and will wait and see what happens this week...
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I had Georgia Tech ranked 11th last week, so this week they had a big win over Wake Forest, so I just left them alone and kept them at 11.</div> Why the hell did you have them #11 last week? I wasn't there to run that poll, but come on. They had five losses then and no quality wins. You shouldn't have ranked 'em. I don't understand what you're saying about Texas. Iowa has more quality wins, beating Louisville and Texas. They took the #1 team in the nation to overtime. They have the same record as Texas. They beat Texas. Yet you don't rank them and you have Texas 17. Also, don't you understand that PJ Tucker is gone? If I took Chuck Hayes off of Kentucky, then you shouldn't think that Kentucky is still that great of a team. And imagine if I took Azibuike (sp?) off after that. That's what it'll be like for them without Tucker and Aldridge. That's why they got raped last night by 25 points. You had Washington 19 last week? With all those ranked wins that they had and only two losses, you had them 19?
I'm not really sure why I had Tech so high, but I guess I wasn't paying attention and doing my job right. I'm still learning how to do these to the best of my ability, but I obivously am not doing that. I'll just keep trying to get better as the weeks go by...

Apologies, fellas, for not getting the rankings in. Yesterday was a very hectic day and I found little time to be on the computer.
