<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) Washington, November 4th (7:30 - MSG) ? Opening night at the Garden! Isiah Thomas and the Knicks have been quite active this off-season improving their rebounding, outside shooting, and defense. This night will be New York?s first opportunity to experience the new and improved Knicks. Star row is sure to be packed! Last year the Knicks took 2 out of 3 from the Wizards including the last game of the season where Jamal Crawford scored 36 points.

    2) Philadelphia, November 26th (12:30 - MSG) ? Allen Iverson and Larry Brown had a tumultuous relationship during Brown?s tenure in Philadelphia, yet they rode each other to the NBA finals. Brown demonstrated his respect for Iverson by naming him the Captain of the United States Olympic team in 2004. Last year Iverson led the league in scoring (30.7 ppg) yet the Knicks won 3 out of 4 games between the two teams. The season series was highlighted by the heightened play of Iverson (30 ppg, 9 apg, 1.75 spg) and Stephon Marbury (22.25 ppg, 10 apg, 1.75 spg).

    3) San Antonio, December 21st (7:30 - MSG) ? The toughest match-up the Knicks will face this year are the defending champions, San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are an extremely deep and fundamentally sound team, which is lead by the future hall of fame power forward Tim Duncan and international superstars Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. This game will be a great test for Larry Brown and his youngsters. Last year the Knicks split the 2 game season series with the Spurs. In the lone win Stephon Marbury had 31 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds.

    4) New Jersey, December 26th (7:30 - MSG) ? This night marks the first of four meetings for the 2005-2006 season. The Nets possess one of the more electric teams in the Eastern Conference with a line up that centers around the trio of offensive all-stars: Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson, and Vince Carter. The games tend to be intense, as they are battling for Tri-State area bragging rights. The Nets played the Knicks 4 times last year and in the final matchup Jason Kidd had his now expected triple double (29 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds).

    5) Phoenix, January 2nd (7:30 - MSG, NBATV) ? Isiah Thomas has developed an amiable relationship with the Phoenix front office during his young career as Knicks GM. Isiah Thomas has worked two blockbuster trades with Phoenix: the first acquiring Stephon Marbury and Anfernee Hardaway, the second acquiring Quentin Richardson and Nate Robinson. These four with help from the rest of the Knicks look to get redemption against Amare Stoudemire and the reigning NBA MVP Steve Nash. Last year, in the first of two matchups, Jamal Crawford scored 40 points and Trevor Ariza had 21 points and 10 rebounds in a starting role.</div>

Those will all be fun exciting games to watch. Not so much now because Heat are on another level but those Heat-Knicks games are always classic. Even last year with the Wade game winner
