http://audio.1080thefan.com/a/42247982/charles-robinson-yahoo-sports.htm Recap: It will be difficult to prove Oregon did anything wrong and Lyles did his work for the kids, not UO.
so the guy (Charles Robinson) who interviewed Lyles for the big breaking news of late who flame throwers Canzano and Schroeder are basing their hysteria on and has been yahoo's point man on this all along thinks... -Oregon did nothing wrong with LaMichael's recruiting. He calls it "far-fetched" to think that the NCAA will go after Oregon for anything related to LJ -Oregon did not provide Lache with any improper benefits -The "one thing that may be problematic for Oregon" is that they didn't ask for anything written from Lyles until after the fact. He goes on to say that the phone records between Lyles with multiple members of Oregon's coaches was extensive (so obviously there was a relationship there) and this recruiting service stuff is a grey area that the NCAA hasn't clearly defined whats above board and whats not. He calls proving improper conduct "notoriously difficult". It bears noting that the NCAA has viewed oral conversations as constituting a legitimate relationship the Lawyer Oregon hired to deal with this fun (Michael Glazier) has had the facts for 4 months now. His history has been to have the school self report infractions and sanction themselves. That hasn't happened. Instead Oregon has stuck to it's stance that it hasn't done anything wrong. It's funny that even in this interview, the interviewer repeatedly attempts to frame it that Oregon has definitely crossed some NCAA line only to have the interviewee (Robinson) maintain thats anything but case. Of course one guy is a reporter armed with extensive facts/knowledge of the case and NCAA rules/history and the other is a flame-thrower trying to generate calls/ratings for his crappy sports talk radio show.
