Keys to the Game

Get off to good start they did it against the Jazz can they do it twice in a row? The Bulls need to get off to a good start in this game they are playing with a lot of confidence they cannot come into this game thinking they have already won.
All eyes on you Chandler. Sixty million dollars can buy a lot of things, but as Chandler is proving an offensive game is not one of them. He is averaging only six points on the offensive end that is low even for him he has a career nine points per game average. He needs to have a break out game tonight to get back on track.
My Prediction: The Bulls always perform well when they are feeling good about themselves they are on a two game win streak, everyone remembers last years win streak after the 0-9 start. Could this be the second coming of that win streak? I don’t know, but I have them winning this game Ben Gordon sealing the game for the Bulls in the last minute.

See thats the thing. If you are a true fan you stick by your teams even when they suck. The Raiders and Niners suck this year. It just makes it sweeter when they are good again. Like the Warriors are going to be this year...

And tell me why you think Bulls by 6? I mean you BARELY beat us in Chicago. What makes you think you will be able to beat us at our home worse than you did on your court? And what did you think about Sweetney getting the foul call with 6 seconds left, but Jrich not getting the call? Just curious...

you lost all credibility by coming into this forum and trying to pick a fight. We respect the Warriors, but to say that it's a joke to say we would win and that u'll beat us by ten, we didn't have duhon and deng didn't play well so don't talk like this is a freebe win for you guys.

How am I trying to pick a fight? It was a joke that Jrich did not get the call. To say it was not is just close minded. When I watch a game I see both teams I dont just acknowledge one team and only complain about the calls that go against my team. I believe the Warriors are going to be fired up in this game. They will want vengance from losing a close game to you guys and they will be home from a disappointing road trip. And dont use that lame excuse of your guys did not play well. They are not even your stars who cares if they did not play well? If you want to compare how our guys played compared to your guys we could use the same excuse. I am not doing that though. That is why we ultimately lost the game because I dont want to blame a loss on the refs, but I believe Jrich was hammered just like Sweetney looked like he was hammered. I think Murphy got mostly ball on that play and should not have had a foul called on him. So where is the consistency in the calls? Oh, I forgot, you guys were at home. Hopefully if we get a favorable call at home you guys wont come in here complaining since you fail to acknowledge our complaint...

In all honesty I agree with you he did not get a call, if you look back at last weeks game thread I even said the Bulls got lucky with some calls, but be that as it may the Bulls still won. Complaining about the call as much reason as you may have does not change that fact so why bother coming onto another teams board, and complaining to them about it? Just out of curiosity did you watch the game? Because during the game thread last week you said you where listening to the game not watching it. I am just wondering if you are going from what you have heard or your own opinion.

What makes you think the Bulls won’t be fired up as well? They have won two in a row, but have lost some tough games this year. They are getting a lot of crap from the media, fans, and probably Skiles for not being able to win a game by more than a couple of points. So you know they are dying for a blow out win.

Quote:

And dont use that lame excuse of your guys did not play well. They are not even your stars who cares if they did not play well?

So if your stars play well, but everyone else on the team plays mediocre or horrible you should not care? Luol Deng is averaging 13 points this season so far, and he scored less then ten against the Warriors last time. The Bulls have four guys averaging double digit scoring right now and Sweetney is not that far off either averaging 9.8 a game, yet last time around against the Warriors only two guys managed to reach double figures. We struggled just as much if not more so then the Warriors did that game.

Quote:

That is why we ultimately lost the game because I dont want to blame a loss on the refs, but I believe Jrich was hammered just like Sweetney looked like he was hammered. You say you will not blame the referees for the loss, but what do you call what you are doing right now? Your complaining about the call that the referees made, and saying it led to your defeat and in simple terms you are complaining about the referees. Trust me I will not comment about the referees any time during tonight's game at risk of sounding hypocritical. If I do I will make one statement about it not drag it on for a week, and make it into a grudge.

Well all this arguing really is pointless. I was just giving a reason WHY I think the Warriors were going to win and I think they are logical reasons. Unlike I think the Bulls will win. Or Bulls by six.

What makes him think that? Perhaps it's just a prediction. So what if we barely beat you once? Does that make it the standard for all games? No. It was one game, whether it was close or not should hold absolutely no bearings on whether or not this game's close. Hell, you're predictions a bit more far-fetched, a double digit victory? As I recall, you said:

Then, who the hell are you to shoot down a much more realistic prediction, based on your theory of how the first time we played eachother determines all other games. Please grace me with your infinite knowledge Warriorsfansnc93 [IMG]

We will see tonight. It is the standard thus far because last year does not matter. The fact is the Warriors have not played up to their potential all year until they played a good team in Milwakee. Sure it is a more realistic prediction but what I am saying is they dont say a reason why they think the Bulls will win; I am.

Alright then, but there shouldnt be a standard at all if there we played only once. We'll see tonight though.

    My prediction: Bulls by 4.

I was joking, I am a Titans fan we going through rebuilding as it is. Got our share of fairweather fans.

being a Bulls fan why would I predict against us?
Up until last game against Utah we been slow out of the blocks. What would happen if we didnt against GS a few nights ago? Who knows.

I didnt see the call, nor did I see the J-Rich call (down here we get two games a week and rarely are they Bulls games, and I missed Sportscenter that night)

They've been very slow starting this season and have yet to dominate an opponent. Some players, namely Tyson Chandler, have yet to live up to expectations this year, and the Bulls have suffered from it. So, on your saying that your team has yet to play their best ball, neither have the Bulls. They have yet to see a night where everyone can put together a solid, overall performance. And just a thought, when you made your initial prediction, where was your thought behind it? Had I-Miss-MJ not criticized your football team, this argument would have never started, and you'd be doing exactly what you're criticizing someone else for doing: not giving a reason behind your prediction.

Nevertheless, on to my predicition. I think the Bulls can take this one again tonight. They finally got out of the blocks pretty fast the other night in win against Utah, but they still have yet to get that big win. The Bulls need a big game out of Tyson Chandler on both offense and defense. He needs to make his prescence felt early, especially on the defensive end, hopefully keeping Golden State from slashing to the post or using Murphy down on the blocks as often. Beyond that, Kirk needs to keep his game going. He and Ben need to extend the defense with their shooting, creating more space for Songaila, Chandler, Sweets to do their down low. If they can get a strong game from their post players and have Ben and Kirk do their thing, they should be able to pull this out. However, they need to get off to a fast start, because digging an early hole has cost them a couple times already this season. Beyond that, while the Warriors have really yet to show it, they have all the ability in the world to open up the game and turn it in to a blowout if the Bulls don't get something going early. In the end though, I think the Bulls will win and their defense will finally stop giving up tons of points (it's funny, they're giving up almost 99 ppg, but opponents aren't really making any shots, hitting only 41% from the floor). I say Bulls by 6, with Tyson finally having his breakout game of the year against a fairly weak defensive frontcourt.

Well the Warriors were up at half time last time but they lost it. The score was similar too. Lets see how this game ends...
