The matchup advantage clearly goes to Dirk Nowitzki who outpowers Jamison, and with his ability to score from everywhere, they need to look to give him the ball as usual and abuse Jamison.[*]Take Care Of The Ball ? The Wizards are top 5 in the league in steals and it's not more about that, but how the Wizards bank from the opponents turnovers. The Wizards are one of the best in pushing the ball, getting fastbreak points and point off turnovers, so the Mavericks can't struggle on offense. [*]Keep Up The Pace ? The Mavericks are coming out of a game no less than 24 hours ago against the Bobcats, while the Wizards have been well rested since Friday. With the Wizards having a high-tempo offense and Princeton offense that has been effective, the Mavericks can't get lost, or they'll lose.[/div][*] Rebound ? The Wizards have done a great job outrebounding the Cavaliers on Saturday in espicially in the 3rd quarter to create the big lead. Butler, Jamison and Thomas will have to step it up in the paint against the 25th ranked team in rebounding. Doing so will limit second chance opportunity points, and creating easy points for themselves.[*]Get Arenas On Fire ? It's obvious that when Arenas is on fire, he can't be stopped. If he can get it going and trade baskets with Dirk Nowitzki, we should have an advantage scoring wise, but we all know how inconsistent he is, so they need to free him up for open shots.[*]Eliminate The Interior ? One of the main reasons the Wizards were able to get out ahead in the 3rd quarter was eliminating the interior and forcing the Cavaliers to shoot long-range shots, which they were not successful of. The Mavericks are full of good shooters, so the Wizards will just need to make them work for their points, instead of getting them easily.[/list] Prediction: Mavericks hasn't beaten playoff teams during their 6 game winning streak, but they are winning nonetheless and the Wizards are struggling on the road, so I'll take Mavericks 114-104. Will's Prediction Record: 5-4 (Cavaliers over Wizards, 107-101)
