Game Most Valuable Player
[IMGR]http://www.nba.com/media/bulls/deng_041206.jpg[/IMGR] Although, the Bulls did not have a game for the better part of the week, four days to be exact, it has still been a very long week for Luol Deng. He has heard his name in trade rumors and has had to answer questions about his up and down performance thus far this season. Deng is one of those players that shines amidst controversy though, and I expect him to do it tonight. Deng has been the best player off the Bulls bench this season, but he is also the Bull that would bring the most talent to the organization should he be traded. I think every Bulls fan is holding their breath that Deng is not traded this year or anytime soon. He will be a key part of this teams future.

Luol will need to have a big game for the Bulls to have any chance of winning this season. The four days rest will serve him well in this contest. I think with his youth and athletic ability he will be able to take advantage of Michael Finley and Brent Barry at certain points in the game.

Predicted Numbers: 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists

    Keys to the Game

Get some rebounds the Bulls have been out rebounded in a majority of the games they have played this season. If they get out rebounded again tonight don?t expect a win to be possible. Michael Sweetney has helped them improve in that area though since starting he has had several double doubles in a row. He has a tough match-up tonight lets see what he can do against some first class competition.
Stop Tony Parker some of you might think I should be saying Tim Duncan, but Parker has been the engine that has kept this team running this year. He is off to the best start of his career, and if you remember last time was the person who killed the Bulls when the Spurs came to Chicago.
Get everyone involved when the Bulls have had more than three players in double figures this season they have won. When they have not gotten everyone involved they have lost it is that simple.
Play some defense Tyson Chandler is averaging less than a block a game this season. That is unacceptable for someone who is supposed to be the anchor of our defense. He needs to start proving he is worth 60 million dollars. He has a notorious history of getting off to slow starts let?s see if he gets it together tonight..

Go to Duncan early and often Tim has yet to have the monster Tim Duncan game this year. If they get him the ball early, and often tonight then he could go off for over 35 points. The Bulls have struggled to stop other teams big men this season Troy Murphy and Mehmet Okur are prime examples both had big games the last time their teams faced the Bulls.
Shut down the Bulls bench the Bulls don?t do well when they cannot get their bench going. The Spurs have an arguably better bench than the Bulls have so if their second unit can limit players like Gordon and Deng from producing then the Spurs will be in even better position to win.
My Prediction:
The Bulls have gotten off to a mediocre start this season, and they are facing a Spurs team that has the second best record in the league this year. The Bulls however are coming off a four day layoff, and are well rested coming into this game. As much as it pains me to say it though I don?t see the Bulls being able to pull off a win tonight. The Spurs are just playing great basketball right now while the Bulls are struggling. Final score 98-83 San Antonio Spurs.

It would if it was any other team, but it is the world champions I think we have a shot to win, but their is a more likely chance that they will win by a supple amount. I hope we don?t lose by fifteen, but their is nothing to suggest we won?t.

Whoa, Bulls up by five right now mid way through the third quarter Chandler has 12 rebounds already. The Bulls are doing well everyone is contributing, but we have no one in double figure scoring.

Impressive win, San Antonio rarely ever loses at home so this is a very nice win for this young Bulls team.

I didn't see the game, but I was wondering who played the majority of our minutes at power foward? Songaila and Sweetney only combined for for liek 24 minutes.
