It wouldn't hurt my feelings if the Bengals picked first. What better way to get the first round flop out of the way? Anyone know what Ki-Jana Carter is doing these days?

Cameron is not free of blame but its not entirely his fault. The person who IMO has the lions share of culpability just got an extension from his & Marino's alma mater for dragging them into mediocrity.

If Cameron s/b fired; What about Mangini for completely going backwards in his sophomore campaign?

It's really easy nowadays to be cynical about sports.

Sometimes I start thinking that there's so much money involved that it becomes a lot more about greed and personal gain than winning and being a part of a team.

But that scene today after the game today made me feel good about sports.

Cleo Lemon's face after the TD when he's running and pointing at the sidelines. Wayne Huizenga crying in the owner's box. The team chant and celebration in the locker room. They were genuinely happy - not for themselves but each other.

I don't think it was fake, either. Those guys were truly miserable about this season.

So congratulations, Dolphins. Not just because you won - but because you reconfirmed that pro athletes are still worthy of my cheers.

Thanks ROTR! I just heard in the Colts @ Raiders broadcast that the Raiders fans cheered loudest for the Dolphins when the NFL scores were announced. I hope it isn't long before the Dolphins and Raiders can face each other in a game that really means something. (Of course, that means I would have to go back to hating you punks.)

Props to theBlack Hole & the rest of the fans. Further, they booed loudest when the Pats score was announced. God bless Raiders fans... every one.

The tool known as Randy Cross announcing the game rather than congratulate the phins just said something disparaging about theRavens.

Siragusa (sideline reporter for GB/St L) was rather matter of factwhen it looked like Miami would eke 1 out late in the 4th.

Dolphin fans got screwed by the NFL RePLAY Selection Committee. Of course, NFL Network darlings, the Patriots had their game with the Jets selected even though it wasn't a close game. The Bills @ Browns was selected even though they only scored 8 points. The Dolphins win their first game in an overtime thriller and were left off. (Jaguars @ Steelers was selected, but that was a good call.)

Why would you replay a team thats has won its first game? The season started months ago.
