Keys To The Game

[*]Fire From Long Range ? Defending the long range shots for Washington has always been a struggle and with the Bulls who came off a good shooting night, they'll need to keep it up in order to beat the Wizards.[*]Stop The Big Trio ? Arenas, Butler and Jamison had it going their way on the offensive end the entire game combining for 29-50 out on the court for 79 points, 19 assists and 20 rebounds. If the Bulls D are able to limit them to low-percentage shots and make it harder for them to pass the ball around, it should be able to slow the trio down.[*]Take Care Of The Ball ? The Wizards are one of the top 5 teams in the NBA in creating turnovers and on Friday, they were able to score 30+ points off 22 turnovers, so Chicago will need to keep from turning the ball over below their average which is about 16 a game.[*]Move The Ball On Offense ? The Wizards in the first quarter alone had 10 of their 13 field goals on assists, and it consistently went that way the entire game ending with 28 assists. With the offensive fire-power they have, they were successfully able to pass the ball around and find the open guy for an easy shot.
Bench Production ? The bench players have stepped up against the Bobcats last night and it hasn't been something they've done all season long, but we saw how effective they can be with Haywood controlling the paint, Hayes with his shots and Daniels with his passing presence. If they can create offense when the big trio isn't there, then it will keep us in the game.[*]Take Care Of Leads ? When the Wizards finally controlling the game in the second half, we thought they were going to walk out with an easy win when Charlotte cut the lead in the 4th down to 6, after being up as much as 17. To take care of it, they'll need a player who's been on fire like Caron has and more importantly make key stops.[/list]

Prediction: I'll take the Wizards winning 98-92

Will's Prediction Record: 7-5 (Wizards over Grizzlies, 96-95)

Gil is killing me, I don't even know what to say anymore, I really don't understand what's wrong with him. Also the Wizards in general are attrocious on the road, it's embarassing. I know the team will likely make a run at some point, but not being at .500 at least is embrassing.

    So far:

    Home: 6-2
    Road: 0-8
