I spend well over $100,000 per year with this certain law firm. Two years ago they sent me a VERY nice leather breif case. Last year a huge Harry & David gift pack (I looked it up, cost over $150). What do I friggin get this year??? A Christmas e-card with a bouncing bell going [friggin] ding [friggin] ding [friggin] ding.

I wrote those cheap bastards back and asked how'd they like to lose my business.

    I WANNA PRESENT!!

By the way, it's frowned upon to make racial slurs as thread titles, BP.

Ya know, there's a firm locally I spend about $800,000 with and they are forever taking me out to eat at the University Club or other ritzy places, Luxury Suite Blazer games (2-3 per year), I get gifts about 3 times a year... They take good care of me because I'm a loyal client and I rarely over rule them on case decisions. Therefore, I ought to get something from the TN firm I feed $100,000 to, no?

Don't you realize that you paid for the gifts? I'd rather pay for the card myself.

What do you do that requires you to spend so much cash with law firms?

BP, don't you mean your firm, rather than you personally? I understand you make the decision as to which law firm to use, but to be old fashioned, quality of service rather than quality of perqs is what should drive the decision, no?

So you are mad that they sent you a poor present? Is it in the contract that they will, or do they do it to just keep their clients happy? Seems odd that you'd dump the firm because for the first time in 3 years they sent you a Christmas card rather than an expensive present, though I do understand the frustration because of how much you spend per year there.

But maybe, with the recession, it has been tough on them? Who knows...

Perhaps, but I want to be pandered to!

Also, I'm not going to drop that cheap law firm, but I am deeply disappointed. We're probably one of their 10 largest clients and it is industry standard to acknowledge your best clients. It's called homage. And I want it!
