    19 Kids And Counting star Josh Duggar, 33, pleads not guilty to federal child porn charges after 'downloading sex abuse material in 2019' as his parents say they're praying for him and his pregnant wife
    • Josh Duggar, 33, pleaded not guilty to child porn charges on Friday during a virtual federal court hearing
    • Duggar, who was taken into custody in Arkansas a day earlier, is charged with receiving and possessing material depicting the sexual abuse of children
    • According to the indictment, he is alleged to have downloaded child sexual abuse material online in May 2019
    • Some of the child pornography material he is accused of possessing shows children under the age of 12
    • His arrest followed a Homeland Security raid on his now-closed car dealership in Springdale, Arkansas back in November 2019
    • His parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, issued a statement on Friday, saying they were praying for their son and pregnant daughter-in-law.

    So question, do you think pedos are a mental illness? And if so, why do we treat that mental illness differently from other mental illnesses? Do you think people choose to be attracted to children?

    The arrest marks Duggar's latest brush with the law after his father, Jim Bob, reported him to police in 2006 for allegedly molesting five young girls over multiple occasions back when he was 14 and 15.

The robocall includes Michelle saying: "The FayettevilleCity Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men – yes, I said men – to use women's and girls' restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only. I don't believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls."

    I agree that people who molest children need to be locked up for a long time, but I also think the massive stigma against pedophilia makes it hard for those people to seek help.

    As in, the ones who don't act on it but are afraid to come forward because they don't want people to know they suffer from that illness. If you were a pedo would you ever tell anyone?

    If a Christian rehab facility is anything like the Pray and the Gay Away facilities this piece of shit hasn't attempted to seek real medical treatment IF this is a mental illness.

    To molest his sisters and then continue to deal in child porn while financially enriching himself over his ability to breed in the name of god only further shows what a piece of shit he is.

    I'm sure pedophilia is a mental illness, just as psychopathy is a mental illness. I don't expect a psychopath or a pedophile to come forward and announce that they have such an illness, I just expect them not to act on it to harm others.

    Pedophilia, also spelled paedophilia, also called pedophilic disorder or pedophilia disorder, in conventional usage, a psychosexual disorder, generally affecting adults, characterized by sexual interest in prepubescent children or attempts to engage in sexual acts with prepubescent children.

    So just being attracted to kids makes me a pedo, even if you don't act on it.

    This is just my two cents. I don't know how well this will be perceived by others but here goes anyway.

    It seems to me that, under the current gender rules, pedophilia is it's own gender... as well as necrophilia. Albeit, not any genders anyone would want to identify with. But, in my opinion, they are separate genders in their own right.

    The only way these people will be comfortable coming forward is if society at large makes it okay for them to come forward. Who the hell would want to come forward to get help if people are talking about killing them? If someone is born with it, and they never act on it, are they guilty of a crime? They should be able to seek help.

    I think that would be horrific for the LBGTQ communities. I can't imagine the increased hate if people started including pedos and necrophillia into that group. These are illegal acts, being LBGTQ is not.
