1997 Miami Heat vs 2005 Miami Heat

    both team's made to the game before the NBA finals and lost and both teams were good.     For '97 Majerle played SG and Mashburn played SF.For '05 Eddie Jones played SF, Wade played SG, and Damon Jones played PG.Anyways, I think the 2005 Heat was the better team. Both teams had great chemistry and benches I'd say were about equal. Position by position '97 wins 3-2, but just the fact that the '05 team has Shaq and Wade, who are both better than any player on '97 I think gives them the edge.

    I'd say '05 had the better superstars and '97 had better role players and maybe a more balanced team. Tough to say though.

    I'd take 05. That was a tough team on both ends, with tons of depth (Remember they had Butler and Mourning coming off the bench)

    And Shaq, Wade, and Zo are good now for them.

    The '97 team would bring a young Bruce Bowen off the bench to defend Wade. Very interesting.
