I've usually found the way a team comes out for the first game after a coach was fired is very telling if the problem was the coach or the team.

If the team comes out and kicks some ass and looks sharp, it was the coach and the team will be better for the remainder of the season.

If they come out and play sloppy and get their ass handed to them, it's the team and the season is DUN.

There's always the "1st game is against a really good team" scenario, but the team that has a potential for a better season plays scrappy ball and keeps it close and respectable.

What are the Raptors fans thoughts on how the Raps game vs the Jazz will go Friday?

I'll have more thoughts when the game gets closer (and after i write my exam tonight) but we are on US National TV tomorrow.... I think we can come out and play well

No doubt a firing is like putting smelling salts under the nose of the team. Expect them to be fired up for Utah.

I'm hoping that if we do intend on keeping Triano as the HC that we get a honeymoon period with him. We could use a run right now.

I'm looking for energy and hustle. With only a practice in between coaches, I don't think there's much else you can expect to see from a team in transition.

In the next few weeks though, this team will have to show me some variety in our offensive sets, better execution on the defensive end, and better rotation management for me to believe it'll be anything other than a 9th-7th seed this year.
