With the final eight in season tournament teams decided tonight, we finally find out who we play next week.
So I guess the only games yet to be scheduled are the 4 quarterfinal IST losing teams. So that would be 2 games added I'd assume on December 8th. Will be odd how they schedule that, as some of those 4 teams could end up playing 40 home games and 42 road games. Or 42 home games and 40 road games. Really like the new IST format, although they need to remove the point differential tie breaker.
I'd assume they have 2 west quarterfinal losing teams play each other, and two East play as well. So let's say the two west losers both were away teams in quarterfinals. One of them has to be away again which will mean 42 away games. Then they've also had to play two extra games against the top8 IST opponents (good teams) So it gives a real argument they end up with one of the hardest schedules in the NBA.
