My Admirals' best week came in the final week. They scored 145.56 points led by Brett Favre's 39.96. LaDainian Tomlinson, Laveranues Coles and the Dolphins Def all had 20+ points. I was shocked. My team had scored consistantly well over the course of the season, but hadn't been particularly explosive. My only mistake was starting Curtis Martin over Anthony Thomas who scored 11 points more than Curtis. What did everyone else consider their big game was?
My best game came against beef, in the playoffs. I think the total was like 138 points. Everyone had chips in the pile. It was great. I think Culpepper was on fire that game and even Travis Henry posted good numbers on a cracked fibula.
My best week came in week 12. My Lawmen set the RZFFL record (at that time) with 135.44 points. I was led by Deuce McAllister with 35.2, Edgerin James chipped in with 25.7 and Anquan Boldin scored 27.1. That week I played Rod Smith with 14.6, while I sat David Boston who scored 25.9! It could have been 146.74 if I had not made that mistake.
My best week came in week 1 vs. Crazybacon. I scored 129.2 and beat him by 84 points. It was all down hill from there. Even though I did win 6 games, I scored in the 50's several times and it pretty much mirrored the Steelers.
I don't think you could help but mirror the Steelers with the team that you drafted. Tommy, Plaxico, Ward, Steeler's defense... I have to give you credit, though. That took guts to draft an entire team of Steelers. =)
I'm glad you didn't say brains! I just couldn't help myself ... it' is still Moderator season isn't it? Wait ... while I reload.
You guys suck. Yes, I said suck. Not only did I have to limp through the NFL season, but I had to limp through the fantasy season with those guys. Ward was the only one worth having. But after last year, who'd have guessed? I looked like a genius after the first 2 weeks. Then I spent the rest of the season as the league 'whipping boy'. It won't happen again.
Oh yes, I will. My ego got the best of me. I will not make the same mistake next year. Watch out Fantasy League 2004, here I come! (Of course I say that and immediately follows a sigh because I know that kcgsc will have the title for the next 8 months... DOH!)
