I just realized almost every team probably got a qaulity player in this draft, that rarely happens.Gomes, Ellis, Warrick,Green David Lee, Nate Robison...etc etc. None of these were lotto picks(Warrick and Green shouldve been....major steals, Celtic and griz fans pat each other on the back).DISCUSS!!
You're kind of right, there were a lot of solid players from the bottom of the first round to the end, and a lot of teams are extremely happy with that, but a few teams didn't do well. The Nuggets picked Jarrett Jack and traded him for Linas Kleiza and I think Ricky Sanchez, and also drafted Julius Hodge and Axel Herville. None of them have really worked out that well. Kleiza has been playing pretty well, but Jack would have worked well for them IMO, and had they drafted Jack they probably would not have Iverson right now, but its all "what ifs" that you can't really say what would have exactly happened. The Spurs picked a project big man that they still haven't brought over to the US, Mahinmi or something. They haven't used him and he doesn't look like he will play for them, but it's not like they really needed him to develop badly, they're still a great team.
Ian Mahimini is who the Spurs picked. I got a look at him last summer in the summer league, he definatly has potential, but his foot work is terrible, and he is a hacker. he'd pick up 4 fouls in 5 minutes of a summer league game, so thats going to translate into 6 in 30 seconds in an NBA game. if he could work on footwork and not fouling, he will be a steal for the Spurs.
Eh.. I think Gerald Green can produce amazing stats if he's given more play time. Sure he's playing a lot right now, but I mean, he ought to be a starter.. Of course, nobody in their right mind would start a still-developing-sophmore over either Paul Pierce nor Wally Sczerbiak.Anyway, CP3 was amazing, too. Can't deny that fact.

He produced very well when he started.
