The title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm just going to do the first round, but if you want to do the whole 2nd round as well, go right ahead. For each player selected in the first round, write whether they have met, exceeded, or went below your expectations so far in their young careers. If you can't/couldn't form an opinion from the start, be honest and put N/A.

Remember, don't necessarily base your answers off where they were selected - but what you personally thought of them from the start.

1. Andrew Bogut - Met My Expectations
I was never quite as high on Bogut as most people. He never blew me away or made me think he was worthy of the #1 overall pick. He has pretty much met my expectations has a fundamentally sound, yet soft, starting center that will never live up to the pre-draft praise.

2. Marvin Williams - Exceeded My Expectations
I thought he had bust written all over him. Atlanta still clearly made a mistake by selecting him over Chris Paul or Deron Williams, but I admit I didn't expect a whole lot out of Marvin. I still haven't seen him play but a couple times this year, in all honesty, but I certainly didn't expect 17/6/2 numbers in his 3rd year.

3. Deron Williams - Met My Expectations
I was a big Deron Williams supporter before the draft, as I fell in love with his game by watching him at Illinois. He is far and away my favorite player of the 2005 NBA Draft, and was from the get-go. Even with that said, I still believe Chris Paul gets the edge when ranking the top point guards in the NBA, but Utah made the right choice for their system. Deron has busted out into the real deal, a bonafide franchise point guard. I didn't expect anything less.

4. Chris Paul - Met My Expectations
Same deal as Deron. I think most people envisioned Paul as the NBA's next best thing at the point guard position, and he has surely lived up to it.

5. Raymond Felton - Below My Expectations
I was very high on Felton coming out, and he hasn't developed the way I thought he would at this point. Vincent doesn't even feel comfortable with him running the point full-time, I thought he would have gotten a better grasp by now. I haven't given up on him; I still think he's going to be a good player, but so far he hasn't been as good as I thought.

6. Martell Webster - N/A
I really didn't know a ton about him heading into the pre-draft period. I didn't have any expectations for him, but heard a lot of good things about him. I was a little surprised he went as high as 6, but again, I really didn't know enough about him to form much of an opinion. Even in his first two years, I didn't see him a ton and we all knew he was a project from the start. He has made steady progress this year, though.

7. Charlie Villanueva - Below My Expectations
Obviously Rob Babcock shocked the world by taking him at 7, so naturally he's going to get a lot of "below my expectations" marks. He really had an excellent rookie year, and really opened my eyes a bit. I thought he'd be a Lamar Odom-like player. Unfortunately, he missed a great portion of last season, but even so - he has lost his starting job to a raw rookie and hasn't produced the way he should be.

8. Channing Frye - Below My Expectations
While he has been a key component to Portland's recent success, he really flopped out after his solid rookie year in New York. I enjoyed watching him play in college, and thought he had some real potential. He still is going to be a steady role player, but he has too much talent to settle for that. So far, he's a bust.

9. Ike Diogu - Below My Expectations
Like Martell Webster, I really didn't know a whole lot about him before the draft. I was impressed with how he finished his rookie year in Golden State, along with Monta Ellis, however. Based on what I saw there, he really hasn't done all that well. He hasn't really shown much progress and is a marginal rotation player at best at this point. Worth the #9 pick? I think not.

10. Andrew Bynum - N/A
See Martell Webster.

11. Fran Vasquez - N/A
No explanation needed.

12. Yaroslav Korolev - N/A
I had no way of seeing him play, other than 2-minute youtube highlight reels. Can't judge, but was very surprised he was taken in the lottery.

13. Sean May - Below My Expectations
While constant injury problems isn't entirely in his control, some of it is. He is still out of shape, as he was his Junior year at UNC, and that has played a role in his health issues. It's a shame, because he has some real talent.

14. Rashad McCants - Met My Expectations
I like Rashad a lot, always have. It's too bad he had to deal with that knee injury last year, because that really slowed down his development. But as of right now, he's pretty much what I thought he'd be - an excellent scorer, but very streaky and with questionable shot selection. He is a decent starter on bad teams, solid role player on good ones. He's not done growing as a player, though.

15. Antoine Wright - Below My Expectations
I, along with a lot people, liked Wright a lot back in 05. In college, he showed flashes of being a real offensive weapon in the future. He has a lot of talent, he's very athletic, but he really is half the player he should be in his third year.

16. Joey Graham - Below My Expectations
Graham is one of the biggest disappointments of this draft. I loved him in college, and I can't put my finger on what exactly went wrong in the NBA. I thought he was going to be a terrific defensive player and a steady starting SF by year 3. He has worked his way down the depth chart more each year, and now is nothing more than trade bait. Definitely below my expectations.

17. Danny Granger - Met My Expectations
How Danny Granger fell to 17 is beyond me. I had him going #7 to Toronto on my 2005 mock draft. He has pretty much met my expectations thus far, and really improved that jumper this past summer. He should be an All-Star when it's all said and done.

18. Gerald Green - Below My Expectations
All the talent, all the athleticism, all the hype - he just hasn't put it all together. We all knew he was a project from the start, but he really hasn't shown any improvement since he was drafted. He still has a chance to be one of those late-bloomers, but I wouldn't put money on it. I admit I fell into the hype, unfortunately it seems unjustified hype. JR Smith he may be in time, but Tracy McGrady he is not.

19. Hakim Warrick - Met My Expectations
Warrick is pretty much where he should be in year three, he just needs to get out of Memphis. He can play, but there's no room for him there. Once he gets out of there and goes somewhere that will give him minutes, he'll continue to progress into a very solid player.

20. Julius Hodge - Below My Expectations
There's no question that he was a reach at 20, and I never understood that pick, but I also thought Hodge would still be in the league at this point. Turns out he's a thug who could care less about his career as long as the checks come in.

21. Nate Robinson - Met My Expectations
Little Nate, the energizer off the bench. I don't think anybody expected anything more than that.

22. Jarrett Jack - Met My Expectations
I've always been a big fan of Jarrett Jack. He's so solid all-around, doesn't force anything, has improved his spot-up jumper, works hard on defense, good guy. He was one of the top 3 guys I wanted at #18 for the C's. Jack is going to be an excellent role player for a long time.

23. Francisco Garcia - Met My Expectations
Garcia was one of my favorite college basketball players at the time. Dynamite shooter, good ball skills, underrated floor vision. He has had a good year in Sac-town this season, and I'm glad he did after a slow start to his career.

24. Luther Head - Met My Expectations
An undersized 2 that can shoot the 3... no surprises.

25. Johan Petro - N/A
Like Korolev, I had no way of seeing him prior to the draft other than 2-minute highlight reels.

26. Jason Maxiell - Exceeded My Expectations
I didn't think he was gonna be anything more than a 10th man fan favorite who people like because he's a chubby guy that can throw down. He's a real player.

27. Linas Kleiza - N/A
Like Korolev and Petro, I had no way of watching him prior to the draft. I like him though. A big wing with a nice-looking shot.

28. Ian Mahinmi - N/A
Had no way of seeing him prior to the draft, and haven't seen him play but 2 summer league games this past summer.

29. Wayne Simien - Below My Expectations
What happened to him? I thought he was gonna be a 15/7 kind of guy, and a real fan favorite. It's a shame nothing has worked out for him.

30. David Lee - Exceeded My Expectations
Liked him in college, but didn't think he'd be this good. He's a walking double-double, a hard worker, much more athletic than most people think - he's the consummate role player and any coach would love to have him.

What about you?

Bogut's stifled by the system.
