Hey is anyone wondering what nicknames will pop out of this year's bunch? I cannot think of any off the top of my head, can any of you? Or just even post what you think a rookie's nickname will soon be.

You don't just make up nicknames you have to earn nicknames.

This isn't a serious thread, so have fun with it and just make them up.

Rafael Araujo - R8 (R stands for his first initial, 8 stands for his draft selection) (if you slowly say it, it will sound like "alright"). Everyone's been saying Araujo is an alright player.

I got this one from Bill Simmons off ESPN, but I thought it was great: "Chukwuemeka" Okafor as Chookie!

Araujo - Hoffa or Baby, Rafael Araujo and Pape Sow, the first letters of their names spell RAPS

Shaun Livingston - still thinking of one

Luol Deng - Who knows, Dengy?

I like Chookie for Emeka, I know a lot of guys with Chukwu on their names, we could call him Cheewy or something like the Star Wars guy.

I just read someone write Dwight Howard + Jersey number = D12, that's a good one.

Not very original. theres already a famous Baseball player with that game. hes a former single season save record holder and has a steven king novel named after him so Ben is gonna have to do some big things to get more famous than him and steal the nickname.

lets see. tracy mcgrady is the big sleep. Kevin garnett is the big fundamental. Can we call Al jefferson the "big nothing" or the "big dissapointment"???
