I don't know, I think bring in the scoring talents of Adam Morrison would retard the Hawks offensively and defensively, also I think it would mess with there chemistry and send the wrong message to the team. The reason I would say it would retard them offensively, is because the Hawks right now have the offense fire power to win games. However they need to learn how to play more disciplined and together as a team. They have a lot of young talent that can play the 2,3,4 position that are still gelling together and developping. If you bring in another piece and subtract a member of that nucleus just to add someone who plays the same position, it would be sending the wron message to a young team. Defensively Adam Morrison may or may not be as good a defender as Josh Chidress, however you know already that Chidress won't be a liability on defense. With Adam Morrison, no one is 100% sure yet. Morrison doesn't bring anything substantial to the 2,3 position in Atlanta that will make a difference in the win column, I think (The shots he takes will just detract from the shots someone else will take). For me, if the Hawks are in the top 3 and don't have a clear shot at grabbing Aldridge, I think they should either trade down and content themselves with a PG (Mardy Collins, Rajon Rondo, etc.) or trade up, then, using Chidress as bait. Especially with a possibility of Harrington leaving, Alridge makes more sense for the Hawks, IMO.

I say you keep Josh Childress and get Al out of there for some veterans that can hopefully bring them to the playoffs as soon as possible. It seems the Hawks every season are in a rebuilding mode to me. It just a matter of time when they are in the playoffs.
