- New RB to replace Jamal Lewis- New OLB to replace Thomas- Decide if Boller has a future in Baltimore, if not, start to think about grooming a Future QB. - Beef up the O-line.- Maybe draft a replacement to groom for a few other vets like Ray-Ray, Mason, and Rolle.
I think we need to go rookie for a RB this year. Kinda like how Jamal came in as a rookie and did well. We MUST franchise Adalius. In the first round of the draft, if we can't get an impact RB (Marshawn Lynch) or a steal, we should take the best offensive lineman. And if some team is stupid enough to sign Thomas despite the franchise tag then we could use those picks to build our depth behind aging vets.In the 2nd round, we should take a RB. Pittman, Hunt, Irons all might be available so we should have a few to pick from. If not them, a quarterback, Troy Smith, Drew Stanton might be around. Or we should take a center/guard. If Anthony Gonzalez is somehow still on the board, we should snatch him up.In the 3rd round, I think we have to consider picking up a quarterback. Boller only has 1 year left and more than likely I don't see him as the future of this team. He's had his moments but we need consistency. Kolb, Palmer, Leak are all nice options. If not one of them, Mason Crosby definately if he's still available. In the 4th round, I'm thinking a WR. Mason is getting old. And there should be quite the variety still around.
I would trade some 2nd day picks for another 1st day pick.In my mock, I have the Ravens getting Ben Grubbs in the 1st round. I'll do the 2nd round later... I'll probably have the Ravens maybe getting Woodley or Bush if they fall.
