<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, ESPN 100 prospect Junior Cadougan verbally committed to Marquette's 2009 recruiting class on Monday. The 6-foot-1 point guard is a Toronto native who turned down offers from Memphis, Wake Forest, Louisiana Tech, Louisville, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas and USC. "It was just the best fit overall," his AAU coach, Ro Russell, told the paper. "It was an opportunity to play right away, and he's always wanted to play in the Big East. He liked the city as well, it's not too far from home, so everything was really perfect." ESPN.com's Antonio Williams breaks down Cadougan's game. "He provides new head coach Buzz Williams with a very solid point guard prospect," Williams siad. "Cadougan has deceiving quickness for his frame, which he could improve by increasing his muscle tone. He relentlessly attacks off the dribble and puts pressure on opposing defenders by using his speed and physical style of play to initiate contact and get to the rim. Once in the paint, he usually looks to finish himself, but has the ability to find open teammates." Cadougan reminds Williams of a former Big East point guard. "His style of play and body type reminds me of former Uconn point guard Khalid El-Amin. If Cadougan improves his play-making skills, physical conditioning, as well as his jumper, he could become a very nice point guard in the Big East." Williams likes what the new Golden Eagle staff is assembling in Milwaukee. "(Buzz) Williams has quietly assembled a strong 2009 recruiting class, with two other ESPN 100 prospects in Jeronne Maymon and Erik Williams both joining Cadougan," he said. "All three of these players will bring some explosion and excitement to Golden Eagles fans for years to come, especially given the fact that all three players have significant room for development. They should all complement each other very well and fit in at Marquette due to their competitive nature and will to win. With three Texas natives on the current Marquette roster, Buzz Williams continues Marquette's recent success in the state by adding Cadougan and Erik Williams. The Golden Eagles appear to have rebounded nicely since the departure of Tom Crean."</div> http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/...recruitId=43474
