    The name caught my eye.
Wonder if he can stroke it like dad.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Georgia Tech added its third '09 recruit in the last two weeks on Thursday when Glen Rice, Jr. verbally committed to the Yellow Jackets, multiple sources report. The son of former NBA gunner Glen Rice also had an offer from Florida State. He joins Mfon Udofia (Stone Mountain, Ga./Miller Grove), Kammeon Holsey (Sparta, Ga./Hancock Central) and Brian Oliver (Bear, Del./Oak Hill Academy) in coach Paul Hewitt's 2009 recruiting class.

"It is a done deal; Glen is going to Georgia Tech," confirmed Rice's high school coach, Joy Goydish, to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Goydish spoke with Tech assistant Charlton Young who played a crucial role in recruiting Rice.

"[Young] is real excited about Glen's decision and feels like he really fits in well with what they do," Goydish said. "They feel like he's an unbelievably skilled player who has one of the highest basketball IQ's that they've ever recruited. They feel like if he continues to work hard and progress, he can be a real special player."</div>
