I am just going to do MVP and Cy Young for both leagues. For AL Cy Young I have three candidates for who I think is going to win it. First is John Lester, he won 19 games for the Red Soxs last year and has been one of the most solid pitchers for the Red Soxs over the past three years. Second is Justin Verlander. Last year he had a career year for ERA. With a 3.37 ERA his lowest ever. He was among the league leader in strikeouts and had over 200 again for the third straight season. I think Justin will finally get to the 20 game mark that he seems to miss ever year. Third is Trevor Cahill. He won 18 games last year and had a 3.50 ERA. I think with the stuff this young man has and the revamped A's look, he could definitely have a chance to win it. AL MVP Miguel Cabrera or Robinson Cano Cabrera should of won it last year but since the Tigers did not make the playoffs he was denied what should of been his. Cano is quietly turning into the best second basemen in the league. He got off to an extremely great start but by late season started to slump and that kept him from being higher in the Ranks for MVP last year. NL Cy Young This one is so extremely hard to pick because of the talent of pitchers the NL has. I am going with Roy Halladay to repeat. Hasn't had an ERA over 2.79 in 3 seasons and with the great pitching the Phillies are going to have I think he will win it once again. NL MVP My top two people are Pujols and Troy Tulowitski. Pujols you have to pick, 10 straight 30+ homerun season, .300+ avg, 100 RBI and could win his third Gold Glove. I think what Tulo did in September he is going to do all year long. He is going to be the monster of the Rockies offense and could win a Gold Glove this year as well. These are just predictions, I know I have left a bunch of good players and hitters of this list so don't tear my head off. Anyone could win these awards and it's so hard to tell in baseball who is going to win what. So what are your predictions.
AL CY - Lester...I think he's going to explode onto the scene this year. AL MVP - Cabrera NL CY - Halladay NL MVP - Pujols
