I just went there and checked a few forums and their trade thread. If anyone thought Blazer fans overvalued their players they never met these rockets fan. Lowry+16th isn't just worth 6/11th we have to throw in a player half the time. There trade offers are worse then Lakersground its insane. All their players are all-star quality according to them with how they value them.
Speaking of CLE/POR scenarios... I think it's odd that they all-of-a-sudden have a lot of interest in Waiters. Yesterday the rushed a last minute second workout with Terrence Ross. Anyone else sense a #6/11 for #4/#24?
Only if we get their second-rounders too. I do like the depth we could generate through five picks between 24 & 41.
In fact I think the Blazers are still trying to trade their picks. If Oklahoma is interested in trading Harden for the #2; then I think Portland will offer the Charlotte #6 and #11 for the #2. (I think that Charlotte would then try to trade the #6 and #31 for the #5; if they couldn't do that then they might not make this trade) If they can turn their draft picks into Lowry and Noah, I think they will do that. I think they have considered going after Howard also, and possibly others not mentioned on the board. I think Olshey thinks big and he doesn't see enough immediate return from the players available at #6 and #11. But I think he's also practical; if he can't make a trade; he will set a new course that involves building through the draft; hopefully in that case he can get another first round pick somehow. I think all the talk of loving Lillard is only an attempt to give them better bargaining position in trade talks.
Well they reached last year big time on Tristan Thompson. I'd be pleased as punch if they did it again!
Waiters at 4 would be crazy IMO but who the fuk knows, could just be the usual smoke as well, glad it will finally be over later today! GO BLAZERS!

If Soup Juggler is really the target, that makes sense, but hopefully Cleveland would add a bit more to that deal
Chad Ford @chadfordinsider Sources say that the Pistons flew to NY to see Andre Drummond workout on Tuesday evening just in case he slides to 9.
I really hope that our picks are at least good if they cant be great because this draft feels like one of those drafts where a really good team is going to draft a "steal" late in the first round that turns out to be a gem. And that will just piss me off.
Chad Ford @chadfordinsider I think the Pistons would likely take Drummond at 9 if he slides to them tonight.
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt Source: Bobcats have five legit offers they're currently exploring to trade the second pick overall in tonight's NBA Draft.
