Yeah, but Blake minus Plumless is $2.6mil. Plus, no RHJ. So $3.4mil or so...?

It's $2.1M for Blake, my mistake.

But you had to pay either Plumlee or RHJ either way. Unless you sold the pick before it was taken.

    $1.4 + $2.1 out, $1.4 in

    Blake was #38, so:

    We traded #23 for #22, and #38 for #41.

We gained 1 spot in the 1st round, and lost 3 spots in the 2nd round. Pretty even.

Crabbe, Connaughton, Kaman aren't technically on the roster

Kaman is the only one I don't expect back of those 3.

The Blazers are The Kings with crappier weather. I can't believe this franchise.

    Seems so.

It's quite brilliant on his part. Dumped a player you don't want and a draft pick that's not likely to turn out for a for sure quality contributor.

FWIW, I think he'll be as good as RoLo for you.

I think it was a good trade, because Mason is a solid starting center, he's still very young and is on a cheap contract. With the potential loss of Rolo, this is a bigger need. I don't think Stotts would have liked to play a wing who can't shoot. None of the defensive specialists he's been compared to are as bad a shooter. 20% from college 3?? That is really bad!

I'm sure the teams are all over it, and it's the league that wants their TV show to last as long as long as possible, so they wait to announce.

FWIW, I believe in RHJ and have long thought he was going to be minimum Gerald Henderson level (which is good at this pick, and I've long thought this before yesterday's trade).

I should have phrased it better. The pick you gave up (RHJ) may or may not turn out as good as Plumlee. I think it's easy to get psyched up during the draft, but look at who really make it. Especially drafted 23.

    Woj

The Blazers haven't conceded that Aldridge is gone, but he'd undoubtedly return to a different roster.

Jonathan Holmes, Robert Upshaw, Mam Jaiteh, Christian Wood, Cliff Alexander all undrafted... some serious talent that we could add to our summer league team

Upshaw as an undrafted FA is a no-lose situation. Elite level shot-blocker on a non-guaranteed contract....perfect!
