Probably could use Drew back for this game. One thing is for certain. If you watched the last game you saw that the Blazers could have an advantage with Nurk on the floor. Claxton cannot guard Nurk and the Nets need to force small ball if they can. They might find a problem if Nurk gets into foul trouble.

Since missing the game against the Lakers, Simmons is averaging 15.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.8 apg, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blks while shooting a ridiculous 82% from the field and not quite as bad as normal 61% from the FT line.
    Still an incredibly versatile defender.

He creates problems for the Blazers.

The Blazers need to force the Nets to use Ben on Nurk instead of allowing him to stay on the ball handler. Get the ball into the big guy and let him make plays. Problem here is Nurk gets lazy passing the ball sometimes. It would be wise for someone to get him locked in from the very beginning.

I hope Eubanks can play. I felt like team really needed him yesterday.

    One word: Nurkic.
Using him more on offense will make it easier for the Blazers to get a win.

We need Nurk for sure, but force-feeding him early never seems to work. He starts out slow.

I disagree. It is how we feed him. If he is double teamed standing motionless, and we try to cram the ball into him. Yes, that's a mistake.
The way you can get the ball to Nurkic continuously is by having him move his feet. It takes more effort by the trailblazers, but it is more effective.
There was the one sequence where the ball went. I believe from Jeremi Grant to Josh Hart than a hockey assist to Jusuf Nurkic, who was moving towards the hoop, and didn't have to do much to get a layup.
That kind of ball movement throws off the defense and can get Nurkic easy baskets.
You can definitely force-feed Nurkic safely.

So it looks like i'm moving to NYC in a few weeks. Looks like the team is enjoying their new digs in my new potential home for the past few days.

Wonder if they change hotels when playing NY and BK in consecutive games.
