Tince, you are profoundly off course. Dame is on a path to NBA records and greatness! There had never been a stronger case for keeping and building around Dame. Imagine our chances for winning the NBA Championship if we trade Simons for Lauri Markkanen, and see further development of Sharpe, Nas, Walker, and Grant. The beginning of the build to the Championship team is here. Let's enjoy it and root for the Blazers!

Grant is who he is. The other guys will develop, you're right. If I could get Lauri Markkanen for Ant today, I'd do it in a second, without hesitation or qualification... I'm a Blazers fan so that probably means that's not a fair trade for the Cavs especially when you consider their back court,

I think Dame has 3 seasons after this one where he'll be close to this level and Dame will probably surprise me with more because he never fails to out perform expectations, so of course we should build the closest thing to a contender that we can around him but it will take a lot of change, not just trading Ant for a player at a better position that's a better fit. The funny thing is that I don't think your solution to our problematic roster is enough and I don't think Joe is even going to do something as radical as you're suggesting. I hope I'm wrong. Go Blazers!

Perhaps Jody doesn't realize a ring for Dame as a Blazer would be a money maker in the end. A huge huge sports story, the team's value would go up, not to mention all the espn specials/movies they do etc. Who knows maybe hollywood would come calling? I think it would be the "feel-good" story the NBA hasn't seen in some time. Then media and fans make it even more legendary. IMHO it would be a big deal.

that means the Blazers can really lowball any offers they make to the Cavs for Markkanen. Portland sends a 2030 2nd round pick (top-55 protected) and Cleveland sends:

I think it has to do with confidence more than concentration but regardless, it translates into intention.

Important win, very important. With that 3-3 home stand and Lillard in superstar mode, The Front Office can continue to try and sell this squad to a new owner, with the concept of Blazers simply need a few easily findable players to become legit contenders.

Sharpe took his first step to belonging last night. He played at a level that he had to be accounted for by the other team.

    Big, big step last night.

I didn't love the way in which Shae was arguing with the coaches about whether he fouled a guy (he did).

How do you know he wasn't explaining why he did what he did.

He kept saying: "I did not." When the coach was showing him how he touched the shooter's forearm. And not in a good way.

Guys not thinking they fouled when they did is like the most common thing that they argue with their coaches about... that's not a big deal at all. It's not like it shows some kind of defiant streak that would make you think that Shae is uncoachable or some shit. Totally normal, an absolute nonstory. I just like the idea of Shae being fired up about the game.
