i shall be in attendance w/ the fam. first game in Moda in a looooong time

 

I didn't know if it would happen this season but here it is...

 

I told myself I would bet the farm if the Blazers are ever favored this year. Crazy to think Billups has a +6 coach effect rating this year. Hasn't lost a game we should've won this entire season!

This is real pressure!

 

Finally get Ayton and Brog back, wonder how much longer Jerami is out?

 

So you will be betting against the Blazers?

 

Did we? Thought both are listed as questionable again?

 

If Colin Sexton has another monster game and the Jazz win, then Portland should try to get him in a trade. There's just something about Blazers that energizes Sexton's game. He'd be a terrific 6th man combo guard.

 

That's not against my morals (and I'd still root for the Blazers regardless of my wager), but I've decided not to in this case.

 

Has there been a previous Blazer-killer that we traded for? If so, who and how did it turn out?

 

It's a B2B on the road for them and the Blazers have 2 days off. I would assume the Blazers will wear them down and take this game. They will beat that spread.

 

I think this is sound logic!

Will be interesting how the team adjusts to Brogdon and Ayton returning.

 

We are actually favored to win this game. Would not be the end of the world if it came down to the final shot and we lost. These guys are next to us in the standings if we care about the draft position next year. But I’ll be rooting for the Blazers.

 

Everyone out for the Jazz. Nothing is a sure fire win with our team this season but the line is now favoring us by 4.5 points.

 

We are still talking about a rotation of Sexton, THT, Agbaji, Fontecchio, Kessler, Olynyk, Yurtseven, Dunn and Hendricks. Regardless of who plays for us they will play a lot bigger because those three big guys (Kessler, Olynyk and Yurtseven) are some of their best players. I really like Hendricks and he'll definitely get more of a chance to play tonight than he's gotten most games this season. Sexton, THT, Agbaji and Fontecchio would all compete for starting spots on our team.

What I'm saying is this won't be a squash match even if Malcolm and Deandre play without restriction. If those two don't end up playing this will be a tough game to win but one we should hope to win, unlike a lot of nights where we just hope we're competitive.
