Watching the game from the beginning, I saw Rupert drill back-to-back 3-pointers (on different possessions for the team) from the top of the 3-point line.

Wow, funny how much better we can do against Ontario when we send most of our actual team to the G-League... And even there, Murray goes 1-8. But at least he's blocked 3 shots.

Let's send EVERYbody (except Brogdon, Grant, Thybulle and Ayton) to the G-League and see if we can compete for a title!

We don’t have the luxury of small sample sizes! Get him out there!

Why don't we put our whole team to remix, so they can dominate and feel good about themselves, then bring our actual remix team up to play to take care of the tank job.

On one 3-pointer, Rupert set himself up nicely, something like Anfernee Simons does with a dribble between the legs, then a step-back.
A role player to being able to set himself up like that for a 3-pointer is nice to see.

He also made a couple catch-and-shoot threes in this game.

What has impressed me the most with Rupert is his finishing around the rim. Have seen more than once him make moves other G League players are not. He still need a year or two but think this is the type of prospect we should be dedicating time to.

Have seen in a few other threads people putting the G League down. Agreed that it is not the NBA but I see a much better game compared to college. Take Murray for example. He averaged 20 pts a game in one of the better conferences. With the Remix, he has struggled. Most of the G League were successful college players and are now more mature. The Ignite have five players that are currently in the 2024 mock draft and have lost all five of their games. I do not think it would be pretty for the NCAA if a college team ever played a G League team.
