On September 25, 2000, NBA star Vince Carter leaped over French center Frederic Weis during the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The 6'6" Carter drove to the basket and spread his legs as he jumped over the 7'2" Weis before dunking the ball. The dunk gave the US a 71-54 lead. The French media dubbed the slam "le dunk de la mort" or "the dunk of death".

I hope so, there won’t be any other NBA level players on the court for us….and some might say only one of those are.

My problem will be which guard now going be able to get them in a offense. The other day the play was terrible when scoot was not on the floor.

Yep if you don't have a decent PG then the rest of the team suffers as well. And we see that all the time in summer league because of the lack of depth.

How ironic, given the makeup of our regular season roster, that our Summer League roster issue is a dearth of guards.

Sharpe ran pg at the end of tank season 2 (tank with a vengeance), I suspect that is what we will see, unless the blazers persuade dame to finish his rip city career the same way he started it.

    Or sign Steve Blake

That one guy who threw the Alley-oop Pass was trying to lose the game for us.

Yeah, but even our regular-season team (last year) did not have enough pgs. Every team needs 3 IMO. Not just one with two combo guards. At the very least we need to sign a decent PG to our Gleauge team in case of injuries. Scoot, Simons, and Mays?

Jabari Walker is a summer league pro.

maybe someday it will translate to the regular season.

I am surprised Mays is not playing in the summer league. I thought he showed well at the end of last season. Or is he to old?

Everyone knew Wemby is a project Center with incredible upside. Just take it easy on the kid this afternoon. He's too scrawny to bang with the bigger guys in the NBA. He'll need a few years in the weight room before the awesome stats start showing up.
