Dixon was much better than most of this year’s roster.

 

That’s why I refuse to. I read some fucking article today claiming what a bad #2 pick he was.

 

Wow, I wish my memories were as rose-tinted.

 

I remember almost getting fired from my first job in high school because I was too slow of a busser. I would have been let go by a family friend who ended up being my son’s Godfather. I’ve always been a good person but I wasn’t getting the job done like what was expected of me.

I certainly don’t hate Scoot. I want him to succeed so badly. But this is a results based league and I think a lot of fans were at least hoping to see some semblance of improvement in any capacity. In the first preseason game, we didn’t see that. Yeah, it’s early and it’s a meaningless game, but we’re here as fans to see our team win or at least improve when things are bad. For me, winning is irrelevant this year. Seeing players improve and figure out how to at least be competitive and show pride is what I value.
