I was thinking about that earlier today. If the Spurs get the #1 pick again it’s rigged.

Top 5 of this draft is underrated in my opinion. After that is where it becomes pretty weak.

There’s been plenty of years where if you’re in the top 15 you feel like you’re getting a good player.

Isn’t it a rule that after you have got the #1 pick you can’t get a top three the following year?

Excellent! Keep those bad Cody reviews coming. Just in case the Blazers ping pong ball misfires, bad Cody reviews might drop him to 6th or 7th place.

I think I have Matas #4 on my board after Sarr, Risachere/Williams. His size and skill is intriguing. A comp I heard for him was Franz Wagner. I'd love to add someone like that. Salaun is also very intriguing. I'd love to get 2 out of that 5.

He is one of the guys I put in the high-risk high reward category. Right now his body needs to fill out. But he has the skills and size for an SF. He won't be ready his rookie year so I think we might be drafting for the future if we can't get in the top 3-4.

He'll be a PF on the NBA level. I'd be surprised if he falls out of the lotto.

apparently teams are lower on Salaun than is being discussed.

Which is why there's a good chance we could snatch him with our Warriors pick. Giannis went #15. Hope they get super aggressive and target their guy, even if they have to use our seconds to move up.

I guess he could as a stretch 4, but his length is not overly impressive for a PF. I bet he starts out as an SF. They say he is quick enough. My guess is he is drafted around 5-7. He just needs to continue to get stronger

Wanna go down a rabbit hole for the Golden State pick?

Along with Dillon Jones keep an eye out for Ryan Dunn

    Ceiling: Herb Jones

I wonder about Toronto's pick at 6. I am hoping they stay in that spot. If they drop below 6 during the lottery, the pick goes to SA, and I would worry about the Sprus then waiting to draft a PG with Toronto's pick and grabbing a wing with their own.

I’ve watched a fair amount of tape with him and you need to squint a bit to see it. It’d certainly be a long term play where you’re placing faith in Schmitz. We’ll see…

I'm struggling a bit with his tape. In half of the footage, you can see some of the intrigue. The other half, however, he looks heavier. It looks like he's running around in clown shoes. I don't know, maybe it's the different camera angles.

The defense and the athleticism does not look impressive at all. I'm not even sure he can complete an alley-oop dunk. Until I see more tape in March, I'm of the opinion we should let another team bite that bullet.

I had a similar impression from watching tape, but after seeing him in person, I was very underwhelmed. Now, I don't think they were using him correctly given his skill set, but he has zero impact on the game.

yeah I don’t understand why he’s rising aside from maybe a French wemby halo effect and GMs trying to throw folks off the scent of their actual targets.
