Here are the nets last 21 games and my predictions accordingly: at hou - L - Toe to toe for the 1st half but will falter in the 2nd half. at sas - L - No need to explain. @ mem - W - It's Memphis! @ nok - W - A should win. vs mia - L - Shaq and Wade! vs lac - L - Another should have, but won't. vs den - W - They have their own problems. at orl - L - Inconsistency. at cha - W - Even we can beat those guys! vs ind - W - Maybe we can win a back to back... at det - L - It's Detroit! vs phi - L - Philly is on the rise and probably will continue to that point. vs atl - W - One of those days were we play like we should. at chi - L - It's going to be close though. vs was - W - I just hope we beat Arenas. I hate that guy! at was - L - Arenas comes back hard. at cle - L - Lebron James. vs nyk - W - Jersey pride. at ind - W - We just do. at nyk - L - Knick pride. vs chi - W - Jason Kidd's farewell game. See you in L.A.! Final standings: 38-44 and out of the playoffs. I hope I'm wrong. But seeing how the Nets have played, I just don't see them getting on track anytime soon. Anyway it's just my predictions. So what are yours guys?
at hou - L at sas - L @ mem - W @ nok - W vs mia - W vs lac - L vs den - W at orl -W at cha - W vs ind - W at det - L vs phi - W vs atl - W at chi - vs was - W at was - L at cle - W . vs nyk - W at ind - L at nyk - W vs chi - L 13-7 and our final record would be 41-40. To be quite honest, I don't care if we make the playoffs. We're going to get eliminated in the first or second round anyway. We just have to many problems, on individual nights to actually be a threat when it counts.
at hou - W at sas - L @ mem - W @ nok - W vs mia - W vs lac - L vs den - W at orl -W at cha - W vs ind - W at det - L vs phi - W vs atl - W at chi - L vs was - W at was - L at cle - L vs nyk - W at ind - L at nyk - W vs chi - L I also say we 13-7. I think we could win the game against the Rockets just because Yao is back and not at a 100 percent and T-Mac will be forced to give Yao the ball more to get back in touch. I think we make the playoffs as the 7th or 8th seed. When Jefferson comes back, I would love to see our starting lineup to be: PG: Jason Kidd SG: Vince Carter SF: Boki Nachbar PF: Richard Jefferson (He gained weight in the off season to play PF) C: Mikki Moore I want the Nets to play fastbreak offense and for Vince Carter to go back to attack mode which he most likely will for the last 15 games of the season or maybe even sooner. I would also like to see Jefferson become a rebounding machine, Moore to play consistent, and for Boki to continue his excellent play without RJ. JKidd will have to still be JKidd and have the offense run through him for us to be successful. Boone needs more minutes, Williams needs to step up as well as the rest of the bench. We may have a pretty hard schedule and get knocked out in the first round if we face the Pistons, but if all the stuff I have mentioned works out, then we may be better than all of us fans have thought.
