Well only 19 times has a 21 year-old pulled that off in NBA history. I would also like to point out that Oden leads all rookies in double-doubles, and is tied for the lead with all sophomores.

    Here is the list:

    Hi.

Please stop wasting bandwidth talking about Greg Oden. He's obviously a bust and will be yesterday's news soon.

Let's discuss who we're going to pick with our lottery pick this June!

I like how every player on that list is a star.

A star? Puh-leeze. Oden's only has a double-double in about 1/3rd of his 30+ games; he should be doing it every game.

    Clearly a bust.

I was going to say REALLY? Even Al Horford? But yeah, Oden has more double-doubles this year than Horford. Surprising and impressive, especially since Oden also lost some time due to injury already.

This is a very encouraging statistic in my opinion.

If that's the case, I can only blame a very poor rookie class b/c it can't possibly be because Oden's any good.

So, how many times has it been done by a 20-year old? Oden doesn't turn 21 until Thursday.

Actually, five different 20 year old players have done it. Shaq x3, Bosh, Brand, LeBron, & Webber

Technically I guess you need to add in Bosh and FreakofNature to the props list then. Any 19 year olds?

If you find some records for 13 year old players, I am going to call foul....

    Nope.

Best game ever by a player 20 years or younger: Shaq, 48 min, 38 pts, 16 reb, 2 stl, 8 blk, and even 6-7 from the free throw line.

24-15-2-2 are pretty big numbers in the NBA regardless of who it's up against. I love how Greg can hook with either his left or right hand, and seems to have more control with his left.
I expect we'll see these types of games once in awhile, and then some subpar ones but the fact that he can show he can dominate is encouraging.

I hope at some point Greg gets more comfortable with a face-up jumper. He's busted it out twice this season it seems like and made both. He's got great form on his shot, and I'd like to see him try it maybe once a game. The sky's the limit for him if he can hook with both hands, throw in a jump shot, add in his dunks.. and his potential to dominate defensively and G.O. might be scary good in a few years.
