I thought they assigned Whitley to the minors and Shreve (LH) made the bullpen..... Chris Martin is a surprise make from ST....big RH. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Yanks now have 3 LH relievers. I like it. They're learning, although I would've went with Lindgren over Shreve. Fair chance we'll eventually see Lindgren this season if Shreve stinks up the place but the Yanks could very well have one of the absolutely best pens in MLB. One final piece has to step forward - Betances!
I'll have to sdmit to paying far less attention to this team but from what I saw of Shreve the guy flat out stinks. Unless some minor miracles happen this team is an accident looking for a place to happen. Sad to see this franchise going the wrong way, Thanks Katzenjammer Kids,
At least they are trying to get with the program. Not that what Cashman does, works! The best aspects of this years ST...............improved pitching, youth in the farm system, and Didi Gregorius. .......and not that changes will improve this team. It won't. These Yankees have a long way to go to become a playoff contender. It's going to be a long spring and summer. There will be no fall baseball for this team. LOL
Here's the plan, keep your fingers crossed this team stays reasonably healthy and we just might be in a race deep into the season for at least a WC. Yep, I really do believe this. lol
