<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Orlando Magic Projected Record: 45-37 This is a team that really turned some heads at the end of last season. The Magic went on an incredible tear and nearly made the playoffs. They are definitely on the upswing and should make even more noise this year. Dwight Howard is a beast and has already become one of the best post players in the league. With time, he will only get better, which is scary. Jameer Nelson had a breakout year and shot the ball extremely well from all over the court. This young duo leads a cast of solid veterans consisting of Grant Hill, Hedo Turkoglu, and Tony Battie. And don't forget the duo they received from Detroit, Carlos Arroyo and Darko Milicic. After sending Ben Wallace to Detroit six years ago, it appears Detroit has finally returned the favor. Both ex-Pistons played very well with the Magic at the end of last year and will be important pieces this season. The Magic also added the best shooter in college, J.J. Redick, who's skills figure to be a perfect compliment to Howard. Is it any wonder why expectations are high in Orlando? Their youth at key positions will cost them at times, but the learning experiences will be beneficial for their bright future. Key Additions: FA: Keith Bogans (Rockets) Draft: JJ Redick (11), James Augustine (41) Key Losses: FA: DeShawn Stevenson (Wizards)</div> Getting some love http://nbadraft.net/2006-07southeast001.asp
I'd prefer to get some love during the season then before it, but it's good to see that we are on the radar of several analysts.
