Normally I'm not a fan of long layoffs, but CJ really needs to practice with the team more. I could almost see him play a Batum-type role for this team, scoring when he must. I see his court vision, slashing and handles really helping this team.

Defensively, I think his long arms will really create problems. He's also a decent rebounding guard, IMO.

Stotts needs these three days to kick the crap out of this team.

Yeah, and just think what 3 days off is going to do for MM's game.

I'm sure it won't be pretty. I'm cringing the moment he returns. All hell may break loose.

Timing has really been an issue, hopefully T. Rob will be the guy we saw last game! Hopefully CJ will start producing as well.

It would really be nice if our bench can muster up at least 25 points per game. That will really help this ball club!

Has anyone seen how he fits with the team on NBA2K14 yet?

Nobody cares about NBA2K14. Go talk about that on the OT forum.

Speak for yourself. That game is the best game ever created. Hands down.

25 points is the magic number to me. If our bench can put up 25 points, I think we can win against anyone. If that's 12 points from Mo and then 6 from TRob, 2 from Joel, and 5 from CJ, great. I don't care who scores them. I just want consistent output from our second unit.

    Nothing.

That is one of the first things I noticed about him on Wednesday. He does seem to have long arms. That can't hurt when guarding taller 2 guards. I am guessing that it is also a reason why he has had success scoring in the paint. The jury is still out on how effective he will be at this next level, but it certainly will help.

Wasn't the last long layoff the beginning of their "slide"? I was worried then, I'm not comforted now.

Not even close. NBA games have always sucked, and they definitely still do.

FIFA is an infinitely better sports video game.

We have a game tomorrow, and one Wednesday. For a fan, it sucks. For the players it's awesome. Hopefully they use this time wisely.

I think the reason the last break didnt work is because of the holidays. You can't really get in the practice time needed. Here, you have 2 1/2 days to do it (game day takes up half of one day) and then a couple after that. This really is the telling time of the season, IMO, with that trip coming up after all this.

This is just simply not true. Maybe in your opinion but not the general opinion of the sports gaming community. I like FIFA and it's a great game but soccer will never be a better sport or gaming sport IMO. Plus there's the fact that I get to play with Petrovic and Duckworth.

    I suspect you've not played NBA2k recently.
