The San Francisco 49ers made a pair of moves on the eve of their first Training Camp practice of the 2013 season. The Niners have activated wide receiver Kyle Williams (Knee) from the Physically-Unable-to-Perform list (PUP) and have placed Michael Crabtree (Achilles) on the PUP. The timing of Williams activation is huge for the 49ers who after losing Crabtree for at least half the season will need every receiver to compete and contribute. Williams has a shot at the second wide receiver spot alongside Anquan Boldin and could make a big contribution to the team this year coming off his ACL injury. Williams will compete with former first-round pick A.J. Jenkins Colin Kaepernickās roommate Ricardo Lockette and rookie fourth-round pick Quinton Patton to decide who will start opposite Boldin for San Francisco. - See more at: http://ninernoise.com/2013/07/25/sa...-kyle-williams-place-michael-crabtree-on-pup/
