That's pathetic. Ever since Griese went out of the lineup things have gone downhill and it's only going to get worse. Cadillac sucked today for some reason. He should've ripped the 49ers D.

That was funny tho, 49ers over Bucs? LOL.Nolan is a good coach so that's why he won. His team is just builiding up to be a very dominating team, hopefully he'll get the players he need in a couple years.

How could the Bucs lose to the 49ers?

Relying on a Rookie Qb and an injured Rookie Runningback is my hunch.

Well, to tell you the truth, Im not that surprised. The 49ers defense is really good if all the players are healthy, which, basically thats what it was this past game, and with an offense like the Bucs, or lack there of, I wasnt as surprised. I was surprised however that we were able to win on 5 field goals.I cant wait to see Pickett play, he is my favorite of the 3 QB's, just his style, the way he plays with his enthusiasm, it looks like he wants to be there. Unlike Smith who just wants the money and Dorsey who cant play without good players around him(aka: high school and college)

Eli Manning did start like 1-7 last year and his brother Peyton was 3-13 as a rookie. Their first year in the league they are going to struggle, but its better to get those bumps in the road out of the way now then next year.

    Re: 49ers beat buccs!!

Its not that Im getting down on Alex Smith at all, I love to have him on the team, but there are a couple things that Id like to see different. My scenario, I wouldve chosen Braylon Edwards in the draft if I was the 49ers. Yeah, Alex Smith is good, but there are so many better choices for QB's this draft, there is just much more depth(Leinart, Young, Vick..etc)The reason for Edwards, the 49ers need the franchise WR. The 49ers have always been built around the franchise QB and the WR. Well, sorry, but unless Reggie Bush agrees to switching to WR, there is not a WR in this upcoming draft IMO, that I see as the franchise WR. We shouldve taken Edwards this past draft, he wouldve been great. If we had done that, I wouldve loved to see Pickett out there everyday, just show everyone what he can do, b/c IMO, hes the best QB on the 49ers right now(yes, thats right, I think hes better then Smith at the moment just b/c Smith is so new to the NFL and he cant do crap so far, he has to run to the sideline for every damn play). Pickett wouldve been able to pass to Edwards, and MAYBE if he was good enough, he would solve our QB problems, and we could just draft Reggie Bush this draft no doubt. But, of course, Im sure he wouldnt be good enough to be the franchise QB, so we would draft Leinart or Vick. That's the road I wouldv'e taken. Its just so much more logical, but wtv. Lets go 49ers!

    Re: 49ers beat buccs!!

It's not a bad scenario, but QB's do take longer to mature then a WR does so I can understand the logic of drafting a QB first. The draft isnt the only way to address a hole in the WR core. Just look at the Giants for example, they traded for Eli Manning and then filled their WR hole through free agency(Plaxico Burress) and they are leading the league in scoring right now. It wouldnt suprise me to either find a good WR who is a restricted free agent (which you can use a first rounder on if they are good enough) or an unrestricted free agent which you can get for a fairly reasonable price.
