    4 Game Winning Streak

I want to know who everyone would consider the most important (not valuable) player during the streak. In my opinion I have to say Z. He is putting up amazing numbers during the streak and I think he is finally turning into the player the Cavs want him to be. Boozer has put up superb numbers as well, playing great defense, getting great offensive putbacks he to is on a tear during the streak. Jeff McInnis has so far shown that he is the best thing that has happened to the Cavs since LeBron. Dishing out assists left and right playing great defense and showing how important he is to this Cavs team.

I can't select one, we have needed everybody. James as a 18/19 year old rookie could not do it all by himself, we needed Z to play like the Z of old and everything changed when Jeff McInnis was shipped in.

Thats true the Cavs are a great example of a TEAM. Everyone is working together for the TEAM not for themselves.

The Cavs are facing the Pacers on Sunday. I'm hoping the Pacers win, so the Knicks can reclaim the 6th seed.

    Yeah me too.

...not really. But most likely Indiana will break our streak.

i disagree, the way z is playin, he will give them fits inside. last night's game makes me feel better against indiana, because we won without lebron scoring much, which will probably be the case again on sunday because artest defends lebron very well. we have played well against the pacers this year, and we are very tough at home lately. this game pits the two hottest teams in the east against each other, we have won 5 in a row, and if the pacers win against boston friday, they will have won 7 in a row i believe.

I totaly agree that Z has been a major contributer in our streak along with Boozer, and you also have to give credit to the Cav's bench for doing well for the most part.

The Pacers will be a major challange, but with Z Boozer and James all on fire we have a shot at disrailing them. I'm hoping we can pull this game off, but it will be very difficult and the Cav's will need all the help they can get.

Cavs are tied at 6th seed with NYK. Lets save our Indiana predictions to the game thread. Thanks Ming for bringing this off topic.

The obvious key guy has been Ilgauskas, as he has been able to get us off to good starts, and hit some key baskets down the stretch. He is blocking at least 3 shots a game this past month as well.

Boozer has been his typical self, putting up double doubles nightly. However he will always be overshadowed by the works of Z and James, as they are our go to guys. Booz does the little things that allow Z and LeBron to do there things.

McInnis is pretty much the sole reason we are seeing a more efficient James, as well as getting good quality early ball to Z, our most effective scorer. Jeff has been that link man we required, so his contribution will never get overlooked by this poster. If only we had that wing scorer......

The bench has been key in a couple of the wins, but also they have nearly cost us games (Atlanta). What we need is some consistency. I realise they are not all gonna be on their game daily, but if we get contributions from a couple each night, we should keep rolling. Getting something at small forward is important. Williams, Nailon, Newble and Kapono are erratic. As long as one is on their game we should be ok.

I think Nailon has been the MVP because he has been providing some offense...

But to be real, the whole team has been playing awesome! If we play like we have been we can beat anyone!!

I am also going to the game on Sunday, hopefully...

I hope you already have your ticket Sheed as it is already a sellout. As for Nailon, he is far from MVP but was key last game. Resign him for the remainder is an easy call for Paxson.

Um...I think that, if my memory serves me correctly, Artest is out, and has been out for a long, long time. Maybe he made a comeback, but as I know, Artest tore something in his thumb, thus him being out, but hey let's save that for the game thread

artest was supposed to be out for a long time, the rest of the season. but apparantly he saw a witch doctor or something cuz he was back in like a week. im not sure if it was a misdiagnosis or he's playing through pain, and thats all ill say about that (dont worry fellas, we'll have PLENTY to talk about during the game thread, we could talk cavs for days at a time when they are playing like this).

McInnis and Z are co mvps of this stretch run we are having, Z is the key to our continued success, there is NO1 in the east that can guard him, NO1.

Music to my ears. My main man who I copped an absolute bagging for supporting him, has forced near everyone to do a quick 180. His skills for his size is unbelievable.

The thing that's great about the way we're playing right now is that you can't just single one guy out who's carried this team, although Z comes the closest. We're playing TEAM basketball, and everyone has contributed along the way.
