Bad News: Finley signed with the Spurs.
Good News: The Heat still have their entire MLE of $5 Million Dollars.

Damon Jones will likely take a small piece of the MLE, but the HEat can still get a solid player or two.

The HEat need help at the Small Forward position and there are simply not that many options.

I like 6'7" SF Gerald Wallace from the Charlotte Bobcats. He is a young player who will sign for a cheap salary. He is extremely athletic and will only get better. James Posey will likely start at SF. Wallace can provide alot of energy off the bench.
I know he is not a veteran like the Heat would prefer, but they can get him for a few years and have him develop. Remember the Heat gave up alot of youth and upside in Qyntel Woods & Rasual Butler.

Who else should the Heat get??

Getting Gerald Wallace would be real great for us i definitely would not mind getting him. As for the other players im not real sure whos left, hopefully Raptors let go of Alston so he can come back and play for us again.

I think that Rafer would want more than the MLE, but I hope we get Eddie House and Wallace, hopefully they can split the MLE.

The Heat still need a backup PG. I'm surprised they didn't actively pursue Earl Watson.

I don't think Earl would be happy backing Jason Williams again.

I like Gerald Wallace, but the Bobcats will most likely keep him (he's restricted).

Keith Bogans is an option now that Bobcats have signed yet another swingman. I'd like to retain Shandon Anderson. Steve Smith too, they're both valuable players, Anderson for his D, Smith for his scoring (3 Point Shooting).

raptors will not get rid of alston
