He served mostly as a third cornerback in his first year as a Redskin, then helped tutor rookie Carlos Rogers last season. He started 12-of-13 games last year, recording 68 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble.Bowen played three seasons in Washington, joining the Redskins in 2003 as a restricted free agent pickup from Green Bay. He turned in his best season in 2003 when he started 16 games and recorded a career-high 94 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles. He suffered a knee injury in 2004, forcing him to miss 11 games.Last season, Bowen played in 13 games, serving as a backup safety and special teams player.Noble has been hampered by injuries the last few seasons. He did not play a down in 2005, re-aggravating a knee injury and then suffering a series of infections during recovery.Noble originally signed with the Redskins in 2003. He suffered a serious knee injury in preseason that year and missed the entire season. In 2004, he returned to play in 16 games, with seven starts, and record 38 tackles and one sack.Raymer, a former second-round draft of the Redskins in 1995, returned to the franchise in 2004 and played in 15 games, with 14 starts, at center that year. His playing time diminished last season after the team signed Casey Rabach.Tupa joined the Redskins in 2004 and produced a Pro Bowl caliber season, logging a 44.1-yard average. He suffered a back injury in preseason last year and was placed on injured reserve. Derrick Frost took over punting duties for most of the season.</div>http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=15756-Bowen I'll miss cuz he stepped up when he had to and did a good job, but having Prioleau at Safety is a better player to go with for awareness and speed/agility.-Walt Harris I won't miss all that much, he never really could wrap guys up and constantly allowed people to blow by him with the ball. Carlos Rogers will be able to take on a stronger role in our secondary next year so losing Walt isn't too big of a deal.-Brandon Noble to the best of my knowledge has a serious medical condition right now and I don't even think he can walk, so he wouldn't be much help to the team anyway other than support. Good luck man wherever you end up.-Cory Raymer I won't miss cuz whenever offensive lineman got injured with his time on our team he could never step up for them and make an impact.-Tom Tupa is much better than Derrick Frost when it comes to distance on punts but the guy is just gettin too old for this stuff. I hope Frost improves though.
