the world never was safe. the Brits, American, Spainards, Frogs and what not just never had to deal with Terrorism on the forefront. but ask other nations such as Serbia, Croatia, Russia, Moldova,Isreal, the Phillipines and they'd all tell you that Islamic terrorist have been a problem for years. its just that its been in these remote parts of the world that we in the Western World don't care about. but the terrorist began bringing the war to the city streets of Madrid, New York, and London, and most everyone looks back on 9/11 as the start of it, when 9/11 is just another tragic event in the history of Terrorism.

People irrationally started hating all other countries, I still don't understand why.
Redneck is right, only the US and maybe the UK are new to this stuff. But other places, it's been going on for a while. Now they have our attention though, maybe an end to it can come around sometime.
