We're now a game clear of the Clippers for the 5th seed, and if things go as expected we'll remain there. Obviously whilst we'd all have preferred Denver, i think our approach has been great. In the past two seasons we've limped into the playoffs (1-5 one year, 1-6 the year before), and been swept both times. This year we're 6-1 in April and have a real chance to be 8-1 going in to the playoffs. Yet to be seen if it will help, but i'm content with our approach and proud of the team being at 47-33.
It's not really set in stone. We play the Clippers on Tuesday, so that should more or less determine where we wind up. I've already secured my tickets for that one. I'm kind of hoping for Dallas, as illogical as that may sound. I like the challenge, and we've done really well against them during the season. Dirk creates matchup problems for a lot of teams, but Pau's done a great job on him all year long, on both ends of the floor.
