The Lakers will have their toughest challenge of the season after their 3 game home stand ends against the Clippers tomorrow. The Lakers have to play on the road for 6 straight games, and 5 of those games are against playoff caliber opponents. This stretch of games could make or break the Lakers chances of making the playoffs. What are your predictions for the Lakers in this stretch and what do you think is the minimum amount of games they need to win? @ DAL @ CHA @ WAS @ PHI @ MIA @ IND I think the Lakers need to go at least 4-2 on this trip to hold onto the 8th seed. Mavs and Heat are going to be the toughest games to win, unless Dirk and Finley are still injured. The Bobcats should be a victory, and the Wizards, 76ers, and Pacers can go either way. Go Lakers!
@ Dal- If they are without Dirk and Finley again, this game is very winnable. We are going to have to have Mihm show up though, is he up for that? @ Cha- If we lose this game, stick a fork in us. The Bobcats play tough, but we should be able to beat them pretty easily. @ Was- My two teams are playing one another, I love it. I have to favor Washington in this one, they came in here and beat us in Staples, they should win in MCI. @ Phi- If this was the pre-deadline Philly team, I would chalk up a win, but with Webber..this team is mucher stronger and will be tough. This is a toss up, but I favor Philly. @ Mia- Three words: All Miami Heat @ Ind- If they Don't have O'neal again, we should win this. We had a 17 point lead and looked good against them last night, we let them back in but we held them off. I take L.A. in this one. I am guessing a 3-3 with losses to Washington, Philly, and Miami.
Yeah this 6 game road trip gonna be really tough for the lakers!! If Dallas will be at least without Dirk; a win could be possible for the lakers. Charlotte won?t be a problem - I guess. I thinK that the next three games in WAS PHI and MIA will be lost and the last one against IND will be a win again. All in all - it?s gonna be a 3-3 run for the lakers.

Off topic: Can you keep an eye on Kwame Brown for me, I don't get games anymore since I moved back to Cali..just tell me how he looks? I will have a game thread..you can post them in there.. Back on topic, if we do any worse than 3-3, I really doubt we will make the playoffs with how Denver is playing.
